At the beginning of my mental health private practice I wanted to keep it simple in handwriting notes. However, I was working so much trying to comply with all insurance and medicaid requirements. Then I tried therapy notes on the free trial. Since then I learned that a good program like this can make your life much easier!!! you can use it from any computer in any part of the world, just sign in and there you go! It is great!!!

Have been using this for the past year and it makes record keeping simpler. Already has ICD-10 codes which saves a lot of time and reminders are helpful for getting notes and updates done as well as for helping clients remember appointments. Thanks.

Therapy notes has allowed me to take on more clients and even to think of hiring another counselor! I no longer worry about treatment plans, consent notes, electronic records, ICD10 codes or audits! All thanks to the integration of the system. Finally something that works!

I would and do recommend TherapyNotes to my fellow therapist. It is easy, keeps you on track and is not time consuming. I take it anywhere and everywhere. I love it!

I tired almost every other integrated program and this the only one that fulfills all of my needs -- and they keep adding to it. Excellent!

I don't like that I have options on notes that I really don't need I'm confused on doing the notes especially if it ask for treatment plan but then If I have to look for dismissing or terminate pt cause don't need treatment plan... Why not ask when you want a treatment plan update if pt is continuing. I dislike being logged of after 15 minutes as my sessions can be 45 minutes to 60 minutes and often it's nice to do notes as I'm in sessions as many pts don't mind and like that I'm keeping track of Plans of Future goals but I get logged off after 15 minutes. So I'm writing on paper to then type on notes. Thank you

* You don't get logged off if you are actively using TherapyNotes so if you do your notes during your session you won't get logged off. * You can increase the 15 minute timeout as high as 75 minutes in your security settings, although we don't recommend that. * The fields in the notes were designed for behavioral health professionals, with an emphasis on psychologists. If they don't pertain to you consider a consultation note instead which is generic. * I didn't understand your comment about treatment plans and termination. But in general the rule is that you need a treatment plan to do a progress note. TherapyNotes recommends a new treatment plan under other conditions as well, such as if you update their diagnosis in a progress note, but you can dismiss those suggestions. Regarding your confusion, please call support and we'll be happy to help you out. Hopefully then you'll reconsider your negative review. Thank you.
