LampsterReviews of thelampster.com

I have two lampsters. One from Kickstarter and one from Indiegogo. Both arrived safely and both are working perfectly. They are better than expected and were packaged beautifully. The app works well and the Lampsters are SO bright. They provide an original talking point and always get noticed and admired. Yes, they took a while, but I have nothing but positive things to say about the product and the service I have received.

I bought two, one for my father who loves tractors and one for myself who loves well-designed product. The Lampster is an big, amazing piece of decoration, full of features, and is guaranteed to make an impression on anyone who sees it for the first time. You can see it's high quality and feels very solid. The additional accessories (harness and bag) make it look like a badass paratrooper. My father received his first and absolutely loves it. It's sitting on his workbench. Mine is now sitting on my desk and keeping me company whether I play, work or study. Their support is amazing: I always received a reply very fast over email or Facebook, it never took more than 24 hours to get a contact and they were always helpful. It's a fantastic product and was well worth the wait! It was shipped late compared to what was promised on Kickstarter, but that's not unusual for these crowdfunding campaigns. The team did a great job. They delivered. Other campaigns I supported wasted all the money in continuous "improvements", and ended up selling to another company without shipping one unit, so I'm very thankful to the Lampster team for honoring their contract despite the delays, and growing complaints of backers.

Worst experience ever. They still haven’t delivered after more than 3 years (estimated delivery was planned for June 2016). They don’t reply on my latest messages via Kickstarter. They try to get more money from Kickstarter supporters by charging extra delivery costs for a separate shipping option. They don’t offer any other solution like refunds. Very badly managed campaign.

After a long wait, my Lampster showed up. I had a little trouble assembling it, the I read the instructions. 1 message on Facebook solved one last error on my part. The company has show 4xtreme willingness to help, even when I was cranky. I have been having fun with my ‘Little Guy’ and the accompanying app. I put in Demo mode, turn out the room lights, and watch the ‘show’! Also, it will ‘listen’ to music and react. Again, I lie back in my recliner, listen to music and enjoy the display of colored lights.

Commander en 2015 et toujours rien reçu... fuyez !

lamp looks great! custumor service is great. It took a good time to get it, but it was worth the wait.

I was irremediably in love since I saw one of his brothers on Kickstarter. It was a long wait, but it worth it. Love at first sight! Me & The Lampster.

The Lampster team had a rough start, but many new businesses do. Once they resolved production issues and got things rolling, everything started getting a lot better. Now that they have shipped many Lampsters out, it's best to see what they are doing now, instead of looking at their slow beginning as a youthful business. The Lampster is as amazing as I had hoped and functions exactly as I would have expected from their crowd funding campaign. For an initial production run, the build quality is pretty solid and I would hope that quality will increase from here on out, since they have working molds and can tinker around to improve the molds. Many new products have issues with their mobile application upon release, but the Android app seemed pretty polished. It connected to my Lampster flawlessly and was very responsive. I was able to set the brightness intensity, color, and other miscellaneous settings. I hope they build out their customer support team to serve customers who need assistance. I was fortunate to get great customer support, so my rating is based off of that and their product.
