Update to bad experience: This freaking jacket was delivered Feb 18, 2020 after 5 months. After writing the review below, I was contacted by Fred on Christmas Eve, another service rep, who was able to refund me the money and offered to get the jacket out to me ASAP for free. While this was at first a nice gesture, the same issues with communication, production, and shipping existed. After being told that I would receive the jacket at no charge, I waited a month without hearing anything, I followed up and Fred told me they had an issue with the custom image and would reprint. Once the jacket did arrive it was the wrong denim style and color, I was told that they had issues with their denim supplier and offered me a leather jacket instead for free. I turned that offer down not hesitating, as I don’t want to project manage another poorly made headache. Avoid or move forward with the knowledge that it’s like going to the DMV, painful, time consuming, and with a less than satisfying outcome. Previous Review from Dec: This is probably the worst experience I have ever had with customer service and timelines. I began my order with Shawn in October for a custom denim jacket as a gift. It is now the end of December and I still haven’t seen any proofs of the jacket, and when I said I’d like to cancel my order for a refund, I was told that that was not possible and my order would now arrive in the beginning of January (although on Dec 24, I highly doubt that as I haven’t been sent tracking or seen proof of completion). I’ve had to email consistently for updates, responses, etc to get any information and move the order forward. For a max 6-8 week process, communication has been terrible, there’s no way to contact them directly and responses come in one sentence at a time spaced by days or weeks. Getting clarity on the order after payment is like pulling teeth and if not for some other positive reviews I would think this entire company is a scam although I’m still not sure. There are much better options out there for custom jacket makers that can do a fabulous job in leather, I’d recommend to check out Schott, Lewis Leather, Straight to Hell, or Leather Cult. I hadn’t ordered a denim jacket before which is why I tried Jacket Maker but I’ve now been told after this terrible experience that Method of Denim is a good option. Do yourself a favor unless you want to wait forever and avoid this business.

I ordered a custom jacket with logo for a trip to Germany where I was going to give seminars and wanted the jacket with our logo. I didn't get the jacket until I had returned from the trip. They offered a make up jacket which just arrived. It's truly a high quality leather jacket and I appreciate their offer to make up for the miscommunication. The jackets are high quality but are made in a foreign country so the communication can be an issue.

I was afraid to deal with a company so far out side of the US. I would hear about the problems that could acure.But this company was GREAT ! The young man MR SHAWN was wonderful he turned my worries around.Every time I touch base with MR SHAWN, he would hit me up. THANKS my man and all the best to you and the JACKET MAKER. LATER !!!

UPDATE: I had originally left a scathing review accusing this company of being a bunch of fraudsters, as I waited nearly three weeks for a jacket with no communication from the company. I'm happy to report my jacket actually did arrive today and it's a pretty high quality piece of work. That being said The Jacket Maker really needs to improve their tracking and distribution systems. That jacket did sit in limbo for almost 3 weeks before I accused them of being scam artists. TL;DR: Good product and definitely worth the money, but the company needs to improve its shipping and order tracking methods.

Note: My jacket fit perfectly, I did not get costume measurements. I got one of their sizes available. Customer service was responsive and helpful. I was afraid that I would have to exchange the size, glad I did not had to. The leather feels great. Will definitely buy again.
