Our usual processing time is 7-10 business days but recently, the flight from our last shipment of inventory from our overseas supplier was cancelled putting us behind schedule with our orders. Hello Nemesio; We are sorry that 3 out of 10 of your neon tetras perished in shipment. Unfortunately, that does happen on occasion and we are always happy to provide a refund for the fish that perished. And thank you for notifying us quickly. With respect to the shipping fee, it is pretty much industry standard to not refund the shipping fee when some of the fish perish in shipment. That shipping fee funded the overnight shipment for all of the neon tetras that you received. In the limited cases where all fish perish in shipment, we will typically send out a replacement shipment at no cost to the customer. There's no way around the cost of shipping a box of water that weighs 6-8lbs for overnight delivery. We make no profit on our shipping fees so that the cost stays very competitive. We understand that the shipping fee is sometimes greater than the cost of the fish. Our customers usually weigh the pros and cons of purchasing a certain quantity and/or type fish online keeping this in mind. It's our hope that our customer service, quality of fish and competitive pricing make it worthwhile.
