Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

My dog really likes the food and I appreciate that it doesn't need to be frozen. Being a senior, I do have some trouble opening the box but its still better than opening a can

My picky little dogs love this food! Less throwing up and their poops look healthier than when they were on any other type of dog food! But most of all I'm not throwing away dog food because they're eating it! It's shelf stable for 2 years and that's another Plus for me.
Response from Happy HowlSep 23, 2026
We are smiling reading this! Healthy poops, happy tummies, and empty bowls with no wasted food is a massive win-win-win! We are so glad our wholesome recipes and shelf-stable packaging have made mealtime so much easier for you and your picky little pups. Give them both an extra big belly rub from all of us!

I love the auto ship. I don’t have to worry about running out of her food. My dog loves the Lamb and Turkey. I’m able to just order what she will eat.
