My dogs are picky
Shipping was fast and it looks like a great product, but my 2 little Japanese Chin dogs are not fond of it. The first day they ate a couple bites, but the second day, they refused to even try it. I'm experimenting with mixing it with different things so hoping we can figure out a way to get them eating some.

Package was crushed and opened there…
Package was crushed and opened there was tape across the actual food packages, some were smashed and the tabs were pulled open. It sat in the heat for some time probably when in Las Vegas for couple days. Food is runny, I put in refrigerator but still not solid. Bad batch/delivery.

The food looked like it was trash
The food looked like it was trash. Food containers dented, box too big and looked just dumped in. I even took a picture. It’s always so nice. Also this auto ship(that I forgot was on) happened like a week after I just ordered!!!!! The system should catch that!!!

As usual my dog is an extremely picky…
As usual my dog is an extremely picky eater. I was really looking forward to this. It sounded like the perfect choice so I could stop cookimg. He ate it once on his own but the only way he would at if I doctored it up. Or if i knew he was hungry he would eat itout of my hand.

Several of the boxes had burst open and…
Several of the boxes had burst open and smell. I’m not sure if the entire batch is safe. This was not packed with enough packaging.

Honestly
Honestly. It's got a lot of rice. I don't remember the sample boxes having as much. They don't really care for the food much and I throw away more than they eat.

Layla likes the Beef Stew but refuses Lamb and Turkey
Layla likes the Beef Stew, but refuses the Lamb and Turkey. If I leave in her bowl all day she will eventually take a few bites, but I feel that making her eat it is wrong. How can you make this right?

The good news is this is actually pretty common and there are a few things we can try to help encourage your pup again. Feeding Tips to Try -Start small & mix in: Try mixing a small amount of the food with something your pup already enjoys (like their previous food) and gradually increase the amount over a few days -Warm it up: Slightly warming the food can enhance the aroma and make it more enticing in a microwave safe bowl for 10 seconds (NOT in the packaging) -Add a topper: A splash of warm water, low-sodium bone broth, or even a little plain boiled chicken can help spark interest -Stick to a schedule: Offer the food for about 15–20 minutes, then pick it up if your pup doesn’t eat. This can help reinforce mealtime routines -Hand feeding (short-term): Sometimes offering a few bites by hand can help reintroduce the food in a positive way Giving your dog time to transition to Happy Howl means you’re giving their body the chance to adjust gently, leading to better digestion, improved energy, and long-term health benefits.
