Our packaging is specifically designed to handle high temps during shipping, and we’ve made improvements over time to make sure the food stays safe and shelf-stable until it’s opened. That said, if you ever notice an unusual texture when opening a carton, just let us know by sending us a picture and we’ll make it right.

Some dogs may get digestive issues.
Well, it seems that my dogs digestive system could not tolerate Happy Howl. We transitioned him slowly per the instructions and when he got to the full diet of HH, he started getting sick. He started having mucousy poop with tinge of blood. This is indicative of intestinal inflammation. He also would vomit a bit intermittently. We stopped feeding HH and got him back on his previous food and he bounced right back. Im not saying that HH is a bad food but it does appear that not all dogs may tolerate it. My little guy is a chihuahua. For some reason he just couldn't tolerate it.

Seeing our pups deal with an upset stomach or intestinal inflammation is completely heartbreaking, and we are so glad to hear that he bounced right back once you switched him back to his previous routine. You are absolutely right—just like humans, every single dog has a completely unique digestive system, and even with a perfect, slow transition, certain clean, fresh ingredients just don't sit well with every individual pup. Thank you so much for giving our recipes a try and for taking such incredibly diligent, loving care of him during the transition. The food has drastically changed… the…
The food has drastically changed… the wonderful smell is gone, no glossy broth gravy, no beans, it’s dry and flaky. Feels like it’s been shrunk down. My dogs are not doing happy howl dances anymore. If the big office is unaware of this, you better be doing product testing. We always buy the Turkey. My dog relies on this food, his allergies are so bad. I’m giving the next box one more chance. If the quality is still the same, I will sadly cancel my membership. It’s a damn shame too. We were so happy with it in the past.

Fast delivery

I still have not gotten my order
I still have not gotten my order, placed at least 10 days ago. What is normal delivery????

I am so sorry for the delay and completely understand your frustration. Waiting on a delivery—especially when it’s for your pup’s meals—is stressful. I just checked your order tracking, and it looks like it is officially out for delivery and projected to arrive today, just over a week after it was placed. Our team fell a bit behind on processing last week, which pushed your delivery out longer than our normal window. We are working hard to catch up so your future orders arrive much faster. As a company I think you are great
As a company I think you are great. However, my dogs won't eat the food. I bought this food a couple of years ago and the dogs are it then suddenly stopped. I don't know if your formula changed or what. Anyway, I thought I would try it again because it is so convenient but they won't eat it anymore. They are older dogs and maybe their tastes have changed.

To answer your question, we haven't changed our recipes, but you are spot on—as dogs cross into their senior years, their sense of smell and taste can naturally decline, making them much more selective.
