Hi Debra! We’re so glad your pups are loving the food! 🐾 We also appreciate the honest feedback on the packaging. We know the cartons can take a little getting used to, so I wanted to share a couple of tricks that may make serving easier. Once you open the carton, try turning it completely upside down over your bowl and giving it a good shake — the food should slide right out. Some customers also find that carefully using scissors to open the carton makes things a little easier. The reason the carton is sealed the way it is comes from our cooking and packaging process, which helps keep the food shelf-stable without preservatives. 😊 If you like to portion your cartons, I personally love using small reusable containers. It makes grabbing a serving at mealtime quick and easy, and our longer spoon is great for getting out any little bit that may remain in the carton. I also noticed your next order is scheduled for September 3rd, so I added a free spoon and reusable bags to help make serving and storing a little easier!
