Cooper is not eating his food he sniffs…
Cooper is not eating his food he sniffs at and walks away. I will leave it for about a half hour before I remove it. I’ll try around noon and he just sniffs and walks away. He eventually eats it for his evening feeding, not sure if it’s because he’s not eaten all day or he actually wants it. I will keep trying to feed him, but I have enough food to last for awhile- since he’s only eating once a day. Is it okay to refrigerate or leave it out? Georgia A Range

It can definitely be puzzling when a pup shifts to eating just once a day! To keep Cooper's food perfectly safe and nutritious, it should always be refrigerated after opening rather than left out for long periods. Your 30-minute rule is excellent—if he walks away, we recommend sealing the portion up in the storage bags we provide with your orders and placing it right in the fridge. When you're ready to try again, try warming the food slightly in the microwave to activate the natural aromas and make it extra enticing for him. Since your supply is lasting a bit longer now, let us know if you ever need to adjust your delivery dates. We are rooting for you and Cooper!
