Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

Convenient packaging. Our dog likes the food except for one flavor - beef. Delivery was quick.

We’re happy to hear the other recipes are getting the tail wags, and we appreciate you giving Happy Howl a try. We’ll let Beef know it has some competition! 😉❤️ Warm Wags, The Happy Howl Team

I was hesitant. My beautiful six-year-old Standard Poodle boy was struggling with yeast allergies. He came to live with us three years ago after an owner re-homed him. I have tried everything including home cooked diet. His gut is a mess. I just cannot find anything that sticks for more than a few days. I ordered this food because it is human grade, and not raw. The food was delivered within a week, and I started feeding it to him immediately. We transitioned completely over 7 days. I am happy to report that so far, no issues. He seems to have more energy and his poop seems fine. I am keeping my fingers crossed. This could be the holy grail.

This is so wonderful to hear, especially after everything you’ve tried for your boy. 🥹 We’re keeping our fingers crossed right along with you that you’ve finally found something that works for him! Your story actually reminds us a lot of why Colin started Happy Howl in the first place. His own Husky was having digestive issues, and after struggling to find a food that worked, he wanted to create something that was easier to feed, made with real ingredients, and didn’t require freezing. Thank you for giving Happy Howl a chance. We’re so happy to hear your sweet boy is doing well so far! ❤️🐾 Warm Wags, The Happy Howl Team

Your product is superior to the frozen according to my dogs enthusiasm when it’s mealtime. Also the ease of storing your product sure makes it easier to not have to remember to thaw his next batch. While cost drove me to try Happy Howl my dogs reaction at meal time has been a bonus!
Response from Happy HowlAug 17, 2026
That’s the best kind of bonus! 🐾 Saving time and space is great, but seeing your pup get genuinely excited when it’s time to eat is what really makes it worth it. We’re so happy Happy Howl has made mealtime a little easier for you both! ❤️ Warm Wags, The Happy Howl Team
