Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

We understand every dog has their own preferences! We offer sample packs so pups can try different flavors before committing to a full box. Our customer support team can also help with any transition tips and questions you have!

I got purchases that I did not order but was charged on my credit card I complained to my credit card co and told them I requested a refund from happy howl via email. I also tried several times to call them and all I got was a busy signal At their request, I had to send pictures of what I received. So I sent pictures of the food and the zip lock bag (they claim this was a free poop bag ) I guess for proof that I got the wrong merchandise. I sent the pictures and at this time still waiting for my refund I was so hoping that the food would work out for my new puppy. Will not order anything again

Refunds can sometimes take a little time to process. We also want to clarify that Happy Howl subscriptions are fully flexible, you can pause, skip, or cancel at any time, and customers are notified before any upcoming order is fulfilled.

I placed an order and it was to be for 2 dogs and it was only enough for 1 and I contacted you through your online chat. Told me they made a ticket and that was 7 days ago. Not good customer service. Too bad because the food was good.

We’d like to make this right, we can help get the correct quantity sent to cover both dogs, or provide a credit if that’s easier. Your feedback is important, and we’ll also follow up with our support team to prevent delays like this in the future.

I was excited to try it so I bought a two month supply. Unfortunately my dogs wouldn’t touch it. When I tried to return the unopened food they said since I got a discount they wouldn’t honor their guarantee. Kinda deceptive since every new customer gets a discount so they never actually have to stand by their guarantee!

I’m sorry this experience was frustrating. We do offer sample packs so customers can try Happy Howl first and see if their dogs like it before committing to a larger order. Our satisfaction guarantee applies to purchases made at full price, as outlined in our return policy. This ensures that customers have the option to try the food risk-free if they buy at full price.

Ordered a multipack of all flavors, hoping that my dog would like this food (very very picky eater) and unfortunately she wont touch it not matter what tricks we try. And unfortunately if you buy the multipack at a discount you cant get a refund. So Im stuck with $100 worth of dog food that is wasted. So make sure you dont get a discount if you think you might need a refund.

Thank you for sharing your experience, we’re really sorry to hear that this wasn’t a good fit for your pup. We completely understand how frustrating it can be when you’re dealing with a very picky eater. We do want to share that we offer sample packs specifically so dogs can try the food before committing to a larger purchase or subscription. We always recommend starting with samples when there’s any uncertainty. We would be happy to offer tips that sometimes help picky eaters or suggest alternative options, including donation ideas so the food doesn’t go to waste. Please feel free to reach out to us directly.

My dog does not love happy howl. Had to give it to some other dog.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear that Happy Howl wasn’t a hit with your dog. Every pup has their own preferences, and sometimes a flavor just doesn’t click. If you’d like, we can suggest trying a different recipe or provide guidance on managing the transition period.

Good afternoon. I bought from you twice and served the food to my dog. Initially, he liked 2 of the 3 options I bought. But then he stopped enjoying it and wouldn't eat it anymore. I then canceled my subscription, but still received a box, which arrived with two damaged packages. I immediately photographed them and sent the pictures so you would be aware of the situation. My expectation was to receive replacements for the two damaged boxes. But to my surprise, I received a message that basically said that since I had canceled, I would only receive replacements if I placed another order. This was an unpleasant surprise. I had already recommended your product to several friends who have dogs, suggesting they buy it too... but after the response I received from you, I honestly changed my opinion about the company's professionalism... which is a shame...

I completely understand your frustration, and I’m very sorry for the negative experience. We have looked into the issue, and it appears that there were two active subscriptions on your account. Our team has now helped you cancel both to ensure no further deliveries or charges occur.
