The subscription service makes it so easy to get. Only problem with last order, two boxes were crushed. My dog loves the variety pack. She never gets bored with it.

My dog love the lamb! And it’s super convenient having shelf stable dog food. Very happy with product. What makes this a 4/5 rather than a 5/5 is that I’m not receiving an “upcoming order” notices- I’m only receiving marketing and “your order has shipped”emails. Which has resulted in me having a bit of “stock” from when I originally gradually converted from other food. The only other issue (if you even wanted to call it that) is the food I’m receiving doesn’t look like the advertised food. Obviously my dog doesn’t care what the food looks like but as the person buying it, that didn’t feel transparent. I can certainly see all the different ingredients and my dog loves it- but doesn’t look like the ad that converted me into a customer.

The food arrived within a week of ordering. It smells really good but our dog was not real interested in it. We started slow and he is eating more each day.

I've been finding rubbery cartilage in rhe Grandma Beef. I only use 1/3 of the carton and refrigerate so I spoil Bella by warming for 10 sec in the microwave and chop her food up. Lately, not every carton, rubbery size of a nickle and quarter cartilage found just in this carton I opened this morning. I purchase this because it is healthy and she is 13 years old with only four teeth I love Happy Howl and so does Bella I just want make sure this is still made healthy. Your advertising says I could even eat it, but I would not eat or feed that to Bella.

Our food is gently cooked inside the carton itself using a slow steam process — similar to a crockpot. Just like when you simmer beef at home, the fat separates from the muscle and rises or collects at the edges. That’s exactly what you’re seeing here. Importantly, this is a good thing — fat derived from real beef is incredibly beneficial for dogs. It provides essential fatty acids that support skin, coat, brain function, and long-lasting energy.
