You keep packing dog food boxes too heavy without protection from UPS drivers throwing boxes around or dropping them - every shipment I have damaged shipping boxes and damaged, sometimes leaking dog food containers. Love the food, you need to get the packing right or you will lose more customers. We'll give it one more try.

The packaging convenience & human grade ingredients are a plus, but my dogs didn't like it. They generally like beef based food, but not this one. I was surprised. I personally found it to have a smokey spicy smell. One dog ate it reluctantly, my other dog refused it. I found pricing to be a bit high even with 40% off, but was willing to order for them. Unfortunately, they are not fans.

Since our food is gently steamed in its own juices, the natural meat aromas can be quite rich for dogs who aren't used to it! A few feeding tips that often help picky pups enjoy fresh food include warming it up slightly in the microwave for a few seconds to soften the aroma, or mixing it gradually into their current food with a splash of warm water or low-sodium bone broth. As a pet parent of four dogs, I believe the overall concept of this food is good. One of three of my small dogs would not eat any of the flavors. My dachshunds ate the beef stew best of two days . I only gave them about 2-3 tablespoons. They had no real interest in the turkey recipe. The company should offer a 14 day refund if the food is not tolerated.

I am so incredibly sorry to hear this! It is always a stressful situation when they absolutely love the taste of a new food but their stomachs don't cooperate the next morning. Sudden menu changes can definitely shock a pup's system. To help their tummies adjust smoothly, we always recommend a very gradual transition schedule over a week and a half: Days 1–3: 25% Happy Howl, 75% Current Food Days 4–6: 50% Happy Howl, 50% Current Food Days 7–10: 75% Happy Howl, 25% Current Food Day 11+: 100% Happy Howl We truly hope their digestive tracks settle down quickly, and we are so grateful to you for giving us a try!

Sometimes with picky eaters, we suggest warming the food up slightly in a microwave-safe bowl (not the packaging) for 10 seconds to enhance the aroma, or even hand-feeding a few bites to build trust. However, we know every pup has their own strict preferences. It is deeply kind of you to think of donating those packs to a local shelter where they can help out other dogs.
