I did not read the fine print about the return policy, you would think they would make one time exception. I am SO Upset. This Company is a total SCAM, OUR DOGS hate it. Would not exchange a flavor. I ordered a large 36 pack box and 10 of them were Lamb. My dogs do not like the lamb. I asked customer service to exchange the lamb for one of the other flavors and customer service wouldnt do an exchange because it was a subscription order rather than a full price order. Not classy at all. Just because I didnt pay full price doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to exchange for a different flavor. At no time did I ask for a refund of any kind. Just a flavor exchange. Lost a customer.

Ordered a sample pack to try for $30. My dogs did not care for the food. It was similar to farmers dog in that it is greasy which upset their stomach. I did not intend to buy it again when I noticed $100 had been taken out of my account for a happy howl substitution. When I went to cancel one of the options was "I never intended to get a subscription " so they must have in some fine print I didn't read that this was set up. They refused to give me my money back. They told me I only had 2 days to cancel once ordered, which I knew nothing about. Imagine how much money they make doing this.

I have tried to cancel these orders and you acknowledged this request but I still get orders I DO NOT WANT. You are forcing me to have to go to UPS to return this order when I have to depend on someone to take me there. ENOUGH ALREADY.

My dog doesn’t like it, I tried to cancel the subscription but find manage subscriptions on the website so I did a chat and she said someone would email me helping me to cancel the subscription. Of course I haven’t heard from anybody.

Because I live in rural northern New Mexico the only home delivery available are ups ground or FedEx all mail needs to go to my PO box address as there is no mail delivery out here in the county. I specifically explained this when I placed my first order on a new subscription. Well I had to have them change the shipping schedule to receive my order sooner and again asked how they were shipping my order and was told they only used UPS. The problem was they shipped via UPS ground saver which is actually dropped at the post office for final delivery and since they don't deliver to my home address the post office will refuse the delivery. I contacted the company immediately when I realized when checking the tracking # for my order that they were actually using ups smart post and not UPS ground and the delivery would be refused and returned to them. I have called customer service 3x now to get them to contact UPS to correct this problem and have yet to hear back from them! I won't be doing business with them again since my order was $167 every 2 weeks for 36 packs as I have 2 large dogs over 80lbs and if this is how they deal with their errors on only my 2nd order I can't trust them with future orders. Buyer beware it's not the food as both my dogs love it but their total lack of response to my continued attempts to get resolution to this issue.

Excessively late shipments and poor customer service. I get an email on Feb 23 saying the order is being prepared. I get another email on Feb 27 informing me that it finally shipped and that I will receive the package a week later, which is already 2 weeks later than I was supposed to receive it. Their customer service line is non existent (you're instructed to leave a voicemail) and they responded to my email complaint 3 days later, informing me "This is Clyde with Happy Howl. Sorry for the confusion. When a shipping label is first generated and UPS provides an estimated date right away, that isn’t the final ETA. The delivery is often sooner once the package is fully in transit. They are updating it after 1-2 days for the final ETA." Except UPS has the most reliable tracking out of all the couriers. This is actually worse than I thought because on review, I received not 1 but 2 emails from Happy Howl notifying me it was going to be late weeks prior. I already had an extra 2 weeks of food for my Canine in addition to a month supply in my previous order. They knew they were going to be late and they chose not to expedite shipping, they responded to me 3 days after I sent the email, there's no one to call if there's a problem, and just today they sent me an email changing their excuse to blaming the weather "in your area" for the delay except there's no inclement weather in my area nor has there been and they knew there was going to be an extended delay and did nothing about it. They barely even responded until there was a negative review. There's no confusion. You're late. You suck. And you're fired.
