So far so good
So far so good. My dog who is a pretty picky eater and sensitive to certain proteins, likes the lamb. I like that it is human grade, doesn't need to be frozen and you can recycle the container. They are local to me which I like to support.

Convenient, Needs a supplement
My dogs seem to really like it so far. But one of them has started eating all sorts of other inedible things, which usually means she's lacking in some nutrient. I will probably supplement with some multivitamins or probiotic and see if that helps. The convenience is worth it (we did homemade) if I can find a way to make it a little healthier for them. Also, "Ships in a day" was deceiving as I didn't receive it for 1.5 weeks so I didn't plan other food correctly.

My dog loves this
My dog loves this! She was super picky and barely ate. Now she runs to the bowl. I mix half and half. Half happy howl half kibble and no issues! Only thing is the getting it out the carton can be messy sometimes even with the “scoop”. But worth it for my dog to be happy.

My puppies are used to me making them…
My puppies are used to me making them home cooked meal such as chicken and rice with veggies. They do not like the consistency and therefore I still had to mix chicken breast and more food. It's an option for store bought food but it will take time for them to adjust.

That makes complete sense, pups who are used to home-cooked meals can take a little time to adjust to a new texture and consistency. Mixing Happy Howl with chicken breast or their usual food is a great way to transition, and many dogs do best with a gradual adjustment. We appreciate you giving it a try and are glad it’s an option for you as a convenient store-bought alternative.

Price change in my Order, no communication leading to it
My dog likes the food. A little pricey but so are many dog food options. What annoyed me was my recurring subscription went from $167 to $184. When I looked at the breakdown there was an additional $17 tax the next time. Same order. Not sure if it was a 2026 change- but if that was the case, I should have been made aware. A notice should have been sent. This made me feel like I could not trust the company and that charges were being added without customer knowledge. Had I received an update to the change in tax amount I probably would have continued, but a price change for the same autoship order with no transparency rubs me the wrong way, as it would with any product.

The dogs love it
The dogs love it ! The only thing i don't like is the container the food is in. It very hard to get it out when half finished

You have changed the beef recipe
You have changed the beef recipe. It was jam packed now it’s watery. My dog isn’t a big fan anymore

I think this is a good product
I think this is a good product. It actually smells like people food as opposed to chemicals and other things. The dog loves it so far he’s a lab he’ll eat anything lol
