We ordered a one-time 6 box variety pack because my two small dogs (yorkie and chihuahua) tend to be picky and sometimes won’t eat their food. Using as a topper over their regular food. They seem to like it fine, but one thing I’m not crazy about is that the food doesn’t remain soft after refrigeration. I have to dig a bit just to get it out of the box. I would appreciate these subscription services to offer alternative purchase options for those of us who like to mix it up with different flavors to keep our fur babies happy.

I love what this company stands for and how they try to help animals in need. The only thing I didn’t like is that my dog has allergies and the only flavor available for that was lamb. And actually, that is fine. It’s just that then they ran out and I had to find an alternative for a couple weeks. Just a little inconvenient, but I still prefer them and my dog does too.

My dog has made visible health improvements during his first few months eating happy howl. He has terrible skin issues but he is starting to regrow hair and has more energy. I do think his prescribed amount of food should be a little more than they recommend but it's already tipping the scales of my budget since he's a 75lb dog so I add additional meat and veggies that I cook.

The only reason I did not give a five is because I it’s too soon to judge. I have two finicky chihuahuas. I’ve tried 8 good quality dry food with and without mixing it with moist food and they will not eat it. They want table food. They only ate a little of Happy Howl- Turkey. I’m still going to give it a chance and update my review later.
