Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

It’s shelf stable which is great! I’ve tasted it myself, it’s very tasty 😋. In fact, I tried it first to make sure it was good enough for my 2 girls. Which they inhaled it down the very first time!!! My 3 dogs love this food! They actually sit and cry as it is being warmed in the microwave. We used Farmers Dog in the past and this is way better! No freezing and it really does smell delicious! With subscribe and save, and buying in bulk this is affordable. Delivery is quick and you can pause your subscription at anytime!

My two shih tzus love the lamb and beef recipes which they eagerly eat as part of their daily meals. I particularly like that I can visually identify the ingredients in the food (carrots, peas, potatoes, green beans). The shelf-stable nature of Happy Howl is a substantial game changer.

The food was high quality and easily stored. My dog enjoyed it and had no digestive issues. Unfortunately for me the price wasn’t in my budget.

Love this product! Clean ingredients, convenient to store and order ahead of time. I love that it comes with a baggie to store opened containers and a spoon to get to the bottom. My only critique is that a fork is actually better to clear out the bottom corner of the box.
Response from Happy HowlMar 23, 2026
We’re thrilled to hear that you love Happy Howl and appreciate the clean ingredients, convenient storage, and included accessories. Your tip about using a fork to reach the bottom corners is a great idea, we love hearing ways our customers make mealtime even easier!
