Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

Our Chaiya is 10 years of age and LOVES LOVES LOVES Happy Howl! She has had the most regular and perfect proops she’s ever had in her years with us. She loves each flavor and we will continue to use it! So glad I did a lot of research on all the fresh foods, the shelf-stable Happy Howl is highly recommended by us!!

It’s wonderful that she’s thriving at 10 years old and enjoying every flavor, and we’re especially happy to hear her digestion has been so consistent and healthy. That kind of improvement means a lot to us.

We’re especially glad to hear your dogs are doing so well on Happy Howl, and that it’s been a good fit for your Pomeranian/Papillon mix given her past digestive issues and pancreatitis. That’s exactly the kind of improvement we hope to support.

Transferred from using the farmers dog ...love the fact that it is shelf stable vs freezer. I plan on doing many camping trip this year with my 3 fur babies and happy howl will be easier to take on the trips!
Response from Happy HowlApr 13, 2026
We’re really glad the shelf-stable format is making things easier for you, especially with travel and camping plans coming up. That’s exactly the kind of flexibility we designed Happy Howl for no freezer, no hassle, just easy to pack and go with your pups.

I love the fact that the product is shelf stable! I cant express enough how much my GSD LOVES this product. We buy Raw from another company as a topper to his kibble. After trying Happy Howl, he wont touch the Raw. Furthermore, he actually DANCES to his bowl when I break out the Happy Howl, he really loves it and I am thankful for the clean ingredients!
Response from Happy HowlApr 13, 2026
We’re so glad your GSD is loving Happy Howl so much, especially that he’s dancing to his bowl, that’s about as good as it gets! It’s also really great to hear he’s excited about the clean ingredients and prefers it even over what you were previously using as a topper.

Pixie the picky Chihuahua princess gobbles up the turkey feast every meal. I really like long shelf life and convenient box, and even the extra long handle spoon that's included.
