Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

Sorry but Dante did not like the food at all.
Response from Happy HowlJun 7, 2026
Thank you for letting us know, and we are so sorry to hear that Dante wasn't a fan of our food! Every pup has their own unique tastes, and we know how disappointing it is when a new meal doesn't work out. We truly appreciate you giving Happy Howl a try for Dante, and we wish you both the very best in finding a recipe that gets his tail wagging!

The next auto ship went to Florida as well when I noticed it was shipping to the wrong address I called customer service to change it they said they could not do I’m out $98 in food got an email 2 days later of an order shipped to wrong address again I called customer service to find out what the heck was going on because I changed address and was supposed to be fixed said the couldn’t cancel I had to change through ups cost me an additional $63 still have not got my food nor did I get reimbursed for $98 that was auto shipped to wrong address. I will order through Amazon from now on.

We appreciate your feedback and are so sorry for the headache this address confusion has caused you. Managing split addresses between homes can be tricky, and we hate that you're out of pocket for these shipments and carrier redirect fees. Once an automatic order processes in our system, the shipping details are locked in and can't be reversed or reimbursed on our end. Thank you so much for sticking with our food!

Told them to cancel two months ago and they canceled just that order even though I told them dog wouldn’t eat product anymore… now a new shipment was delivered and I’ve been charged $178. They wouldn’t work with me. Bad customer service…..product is good.

Thank you for your honesty and for the shout-out to our quality! We apologize for the breakdown in communication regarding your request to stop shipments. Because our fresh meals move so quickly into fulfillment, we weren't able to intercept this delivery or reverse the charge. We value your business and your feedback, and we're here to help you make any necessary adjustments to your account settings if you ever reconsider Happy Howl.

I have two fussy dogs and have tried everything they did not like this either unfortunately
Response from Happy HowlJun 3, 2026
Thank you for giving us a try with your two pups. We're truly sorry to hear that it wasn't a match for them! Every dog is unique, and sometimes even the best recipes don't fit every fussy palate. Best of luck finding a food they love!

I am trying to cancel my subscription with Hungry Howl. My dog does not like it. I am not to good with computers and I got nowhere with calling the service number. I now have thirty boxes of Hungry Howl because you sent me another order. If I don’t get this settled in time I will receive another order I’ll have to pay for. Then I will be donating more to the shelter near my home. You make it to difficult to cancel subscriptions.

You have continually screwed up our orders. You have sent and charge me for items that my dog is allergic to and that I have notified you about numerous times.

My dog snifted and turned and walked away. Tried for over a week she ate around your food but wouldn't eat it. I have been trying to cancel everything with your company. Sorry..
Response from Happy HowlJun 5, 2026
We appreciate your honest review and the patience you showed in trying our food for over a week! While we're disappointed our recipes didn't win her over, we completely understand your decision to move on. Thank you for trying us out, and no apologies necessary—we wish you and your dog the best!
