Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

My dogs love this as an adder to their food. My order always arrives on time, is boxed well and is worth the price.

One of my dogs is a picky eater, and for the last 6 months we tried multiple different fresh dog food brands. She didn't really love any of them. She was so excited when I opened Happy Howl. She smelled it and went nuts for it. She ate all of it and even wanted to get seconds from her sisters bowl. This has not happened before with any other dog food brand

That reaction is what it's all about! Thank you so much for sharing this. Knowing that she went from turning down other brands to enthusiastically cleaning her bowl is wonderful to hear. We take a lot of pride in using real, recognizable ingredients that dogs naturally gravitate toward, and we're so glad we could bring that excitement to her mealtimes!

Fantastic. Easy to order, shipped promptly, shelf stable is my number one reason. No more freezer space and easy to travel with.

She enjoys her food & is doing much better on it. The ability to adjust the frequency of the delivery service has been very helpful.

My dogs seam to love it . Great it doesn't need to be frozen. Only thing is wish there was a easy way to do portion control with the box
Response from Happy HowlJun 3, 2026
Ditching the freezer for shelf-stable convenience is a total game-changer, and we're thrilled your pups are giving the food two paws up! We are always looking for ways to make mealtime smoother for pet parents, so we'll absolutely pass this note along to our kitchen team. We appreciate you!
