Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

I was advised via texts as to expected delivery and the food came well packed. I started Murphy on just a bit mixed in with her kibble, and increased it daily with no bowel issues. She loves it and has gotten her appetite back. She does a happy dance when she sees me get the box out. I like that it has NO dog food smell! Just like a well cooked human meal. Not cheap, but I feel it is money well spent and may even save me on vet bills as she ages. Thank you.

We are so glad to hear that Murphy has her appetite back! It’s a huge relief when mealtime goes from a chore to a celebration. We know that choosing premium food is a big commitment, and we love your perspective on it being an investment in her long-term wellness. Thank you for noticing the care we put into our packaging and communication—we are thrilled to have you and Murphy in the family!

I cancelled my automatic multi pack order because my dogs started turning up their nose to it and go for days not eating. I believe the low protein content was problem because they are used to 45% protein content in food they were eating. I have started adding some protein and not feeding them as often and they are starting to eat. I will reconsider signing back up as I see you they do with this last 24 pack. I love the convenience of shelf life of this food and want to support the family owned business. Happy Howl cancelation was an excellent experience and I had no problems.

Our picky eating Cavapoo loves HH! It seems we've tried everything but are excited he's doing well on this.
Response from Happy HowlJun 7, 2026
There is nothing quite like the peace of mind that comes with seeing a picky eater dive right into their bowl. Cavapoos can be famously selective about their meals, so hearing that your pup is genuinely excited about Happy Howl after you've tried everything means the world to us. We are absolutely thrilled to help keep his belly full and healthy!

We love hearing that the whole crew is on board. It can sometimes be a challenge to find a meal that satisfies every pup in a household, so knowing our recipes are a hit with all of your dogs is a huge compliment. Thank you for making us a part of your pack's daily routine!
