Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

What happened to the bags that were sent to put the opened container in? The first orders had bags but the last two boxes had none. For the price it would be nice to have them.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we sincerely apologize for the oversight in your last two shipments! We know how essential those storage bags are for keeping opened containers fresh and making mealtime convenient, so we agree they absolutely should be in your box. We have updated your account profile to ensure that extra storage bags are automatically added to every single order you receive going forward. Thank you for your patience with us!

My dog loves this food. Only 2 times did he not want it. I’m not sure if those 2 boxes were bad or what. And to tell you the truth my chickens wouldn’t eat those boxes either. Other than that 👍

A big thank you for the 'thumbs up' on our food! We're thrilled your dog enjoys it, but we take it very seriously when a box isn't up to par. We appreciate you letting us know about those two instances; we strive for total consistency in every shipment. Please contact [email protected] if you are ever concerned about food again and we'll be happy to help!

Our Nik and Jax look forward to meal times. We started with a frozen product which was also great, but we humans are forgetful and our boys would let us know when we forgot to defrost. We also needed a product that was low in purines. As our dalmatians, are prone to stones. We found that the lamb stew has the lowest amt of organ meat. And we couldn't use the poultry one as one of our dogs is allergic. It always survives on time and we've had no problem skipping shipments When we start to get a stockpile. I highly recommend based on my boys satisfaction.

Thank you for sharing your experience! Navigating allergies and specific health considerations can be a puzzle, so knowing that our recipes have provided a safe, reliable, and delicious option for your Nik and Jax is the best news we could get. We're also glad that managing your subscription shipments has been smooth and easy whenever you need to adjust. We truly appreciate your support!

All of the above, unfortunately with 6 dogs it is too expensive. I tried but thank you
Response from Happy HowlJun 9, 2026
Six dogs sounds like a house full of love, but we completely understand how quickly the cost adds up for a pack that size! Please don't apologize at all—budgeting for six pups is no joke, and you have to do what makes the most sense for your family. We are so incredibly grateful that you gave us a shot and took the time to share your feedback with us. Wishing you and your wonderful pack the very best!
