Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

We just received our 3rd big box 📦 of assorted flavor food. Our 🐕 loves ❤️ her assortment.
Response from Happy HowlJul 1, 2026
Three big boxes in, and the excitement is still going strong! We love knowing that the variety pack keeps mealtime interesting and that your pup looks forward to seeing which flavor is on the menu next. Thank you so much for making us a consistent part of her routine!

Our doodle had basically given up on his kibble and other various brands of canned food. But he’s torn through several boxes now of the variety pack, lol! We’re still transitioning him to Happy Howl, but we can already see his mood and energy level already coming back! So far, great product, great recipes!

It sounds like your doodle was just holding out for the good stuff! Moving away from the kibble slump and finding a variety pack he genuinely looks forward to is a huge milestone. We are glad you are already noticing a positive shift in his mood and stamina even during the transition phase. Thank you for making our recipes a part of his new routine!

I was very happy to be able to try the various dog foods before I had to buy. Lexie is eating the lamb and turkey. She is not too crazy about the beef. Sometimes I still have to hand feed her to get her to eat. She’s spoiled!
Response from Happy HowlJul 1, 2026
We love that the trial helped you dial in Lexie's favorites! Team Lamb and Turkey definitely won this round, and there is nothing wrong with a little extra hand-feeding service for a spoiled pup. Thanks for the great review!

Very quick and order was precisely as requested. Now if my dog will eat the food I’ll be even happier!

We are sending positive vibes your way for the upcoming taste test and hope your pup gives the new recipes an immediate stamp of approval. Let us know how it goes!

My pup started to reject a lot of her fresh/frozen food and I ended up throwing away $$$ just to find something she would eat. After finding Happy Howl it has been smooth sailing for the two of us. She transitioned really well and still enjoys her food months later. I got more freezer space and she gets more toys too so that's a great trade off.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this review! We are glad to hear that after the frustration of wasting expensive frozen meals, your pup transitioned smoothly and is still loving her food months later. Getting your freezer space back while she gets a few extra toys sounds like the absolute perfect trade-off. We truly appreciate your support!

It's been easy to see our subscription and change it as needed. The food looks like real food and that makes me feel better about giving it to Bear. I mix it with some dry dog food, which is how he prefers it. It is very convenient and being shelf stable is so much easier than a brand I was using.
Response from Happy HowlJul 1, 2026
That is what we like to hear! Skipping the hassle of frozen brands and having an easy subscription model sounds like a total win-win for your schedule. We're so glad that the real, wholesome ingredients pass the visual test for you and the taste test for Bear. Thanks for the fantastic shoutout!
