Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

This is music to our ears! We work incredibly hard behind the scenes to make sure our service is just as premium and friendly as the food in your pup's bowl, so hearing this means the world to our entire team. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your trust and support!

The food arrives right on time. My dogs love it and I love having it stored in a drawer in the kitchen, not the freezer. No thawing required and more room for ice cream.
Response from Happy HowlJul 12, 2026
This completely brightens our day! Prioritizing more room for ice cream is a philosophy we can fully get behind. We are so happy to hear that your dogs are obsessed with their meals and that you're loving the total convenience of a simple kitchen drawer setup with zero thawing required. Thank you so much for the wonderful shoutout and for letting us help keep your kitchen running smoothly!

My pup loves these meals. Perfect diet plan and I love the mix of veggies and meat. No more loose stools and he gets balanced nutritional meal every serving. Prices isn’t bad either.

We are absolutely thrilled to hear this! There is truly nothing better for a pet parent than seeing the end of loose stools—firm, healthy bathroom breaks are the ultimate proof that those clean ingredients are doing their job! We carefully balance our real meat and wholesome veggies to ensure every single bite delivers complete, steady nutrition, and we love knowing that it's hitting the perfect spot for both your pup's tummy and your wallet. Thank you so much for the fantastic review and for being part of our pack!

I ordered and recieved my first try at all the flavors for my dog, she unexpectedly had a Turkey allergy I was unaware of as I had been making her a home made beef recipe. I reached out to Happy Howl to see if I could return the Turkey and get more Beef and they could not have been more helpful. They sent out a replacement Beef quantity and gave me a return slip to send the Turkey back, no problem. Their quick response and pleasant, helpful attitude have just made a regular customer out of me. My Lulu Loves this food so far, and it's so much easier to travel and back up food stores for her with this shelf stable food. My dog and I are very Happy Howl Customers !

Welcome to the Happy Howl family! We are so incredibly happy to have you and Lulu in our pack, though we are so sorry to hear about her unexpected turkey allergy! Discovering a new food sensitivity can be stressful, so we wanted to make sure swapping it out for her favorite beef recipe was completely effortless for you. We believe that premium nutrition should come with premium care, and hearing that our team made a regular customer out of you completely brightens our day. We are so glad our shelf-stable boxes are making meal prep and travel a total breeze compared to the kitchen hustle of home-cooking!

"This completely brightens our day! There is no higher compliment than earning the trust of a dedicated pet parent who has been home-cooking for a picky pup. We formulated our slow-cooked stews to be the absolute closest thing to a home-cooked meal, so hearing that it has been a tremendous blessing for both you and your sweet girl means the world to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for welcoming Happy Howl into your routine and your kitchen!
