Happy Howl makes healthy dog food.
Happy Howl makes healthy dog foods. All my dogs appear to like it because their bowls are always licked clean! I also like that it comes in a box, which is certainly more environmentally friendly! They do this through "..aseptic packaging, gentle steam and pressure cooking, and pressure stabilization, which is why it can be kept in a box..", also a plus for me!

We are so grateful you took the time to share this wonderful feedback with us! Hearing that your pups lick their bowls completely clean is the absolute best compliment we could receive. We put a lot of heart into our eco-friendly packaging and gentle cooking process, so it means the world to know how much you and your pack appreciate it!

Happy Howl experience
So far my sweet boy Bear loves happy Howl dog food! I’ve loved getting the food delivered to me. However, every box is supposed to come with two plastic bags & a silver spoon. My last box did not come with either of those items and I was disappointed in that. More so the bags than the spoon bc I already have two. But other than that I’ve very satisfied with their products, packaging & the quality!

We are so thrilled to hear that sweet Bear loves Happy Howl and that you’ve enjoyed the quality of our food! Every shipment is meant to include storage bags, though only the very first order includes a spoon, so we apologize for missing those bags in your last box. We’ve gone ahead and added extra storage bags as well as a spoon to all your future orders starting August 13th to ensure you're completely set up!

My dogs really enjoy their meals
My dogs really enjoy their meals. I am having a hard time navigating the website to increase my order size or shorten the delivery times as I have multiple dogs (3).

We're so glad your three dogs are loving their meals! Managing a feeding schedule for a full house can definitely be tricky, and we want to make adjusting your orders as simple as possible. We’d love to help you find the perfect delivery frequency and case-pack for your pups—feel free to give our team a call directly at 1-888-436-7490, or let us know how much each of your dogs weighs and how often you'd like your shipments to arrive. We'll be more than happy to get everything set up smoothly for you!

Food is loved by dog
Food is loved by dog Owner not happy w packaging; its stiff and cumbersome.

Thank you for the honest feedback! It’s awesome to know the food itself is a hit with your pup, but we’re sorry to hear the package design is giving you a workout. Because of our gentle steaming process, the packaging needs to be extra durable, which can make it a bit stiff. Snapping the top off with scissors and storing unused portions in a small tub or ziplock can make serving a whole lot easier. Thank you for helping us grow and improve!

i actually like the product because…
i actually like the product because it’s very healthy but my dog is not very thrilled about it. i admit i didn’t give it to him slowly because the day i gave it to him i had run out of his own food and the amount in your container was perfect for the usual dose of food that she eats every meal, so i gave her a whole container. I am sure she eventually would like it if she is introduced to it slowly . The one thing it was hard to do completely was to get it out of the box because it was very pasty, not as moist as in your add but i understand how food tends to compact specially with grains in it. Anyway over all it is a very healthy and good product just a bit expensive. Thanks for your service.

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback! We completely understand how easy it is to jump right in when running low on food, but starting slow really does make all the difference for discerning pups. A gradual transition gives her digestive system and tastebuds time to adjust, and mixing a little warm water into the food can help loosen the texture and release those delicious aromas. We truly appreciate you giving Happy Howl a try, and we are so glad you value the quality and health benefits of our ingredients!

Dogs seem to like it
Dogs seem to like it. The packaging is convenient & easy to open then reclose & store in fridge for later meal. I don’t appreciate being charged a dollar each for two small plastic baggies & a dollar for a spoon. Whose dumb idea was that?
Response from Happy HowlJul 26, 2026
We appreciate your feedback and are happy to hear your dogs love the food and that the packaging is working out so well! We completely understand your concern, but we want to reassure you that the storage bags and spoon were provided totally free on your order—you were only charged for the food. Thank you for giving us a try and for helping us clarify!

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us! We're thrilled your dogs enjoy the food, but we're so sorry to hear your storage bags didn't make it into your past shipments. We have made sure your subscription is updated so that storage bags are locked in for all future deliveries, beginning with your next scheduled order on August 12th. We appreciate your patience and your support of Happy Howl!
