Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

The ultimate stamp of approval from all three pups! Watching a full pack get that excited for breakfast and dinner is exactly why we do what we do. Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback and for being such an awesome part of our pack!

I switched from a frozen food brand and couldn't be more pleased. The convenience! And easy storage! I have my freezer back!😊 And most important - I'm not rushing home to get the package and get the food in the freezer before it's all defrosted. Happy Howl's packaging is compact and easy to store, easy to pack up and go when taking my dog with me on trips. Perfect for our lifestyle and keeping my dog happy and healthy. And he loves the food!

Getting your freezer back and losing that delivery-day rush is a massive victory! There is truly nothing more stressful than racing the clock to get a frozen package home before it thaws, so we are absolutely thrilled that our shelf-stable boxes have taken that weight off your shoulders. We designed our compact packaging specifically to fit seamlessly into busy lifestyles, making it just as easy to pack up for a road trip as it is to store in the pantry. Knowing that your pup is completely loving the food while you get a more convenient routine is the ultimate win-win. Thank you so much for making the switch to Happy Howl!

Our 5 month old Maltipoo, Pablo, LOVES his new Happy Howl food!! He devours his serving in minutes each time. We also love how easy it is to store the unopened packages in our pantry until we are ready for a new package!

Hearing that little Pablo is absolutely devouring his meals completely makes our day! At five months old, he has a lot of growing to do, and fueling that puppy energy with clean, real nutrition is so important. We are also thrilled that our shelf-stable packaging is making your daily routine a breeze. Having fresh food ready to go right from the pantry without taking up freezer space is a total game-changer. Thank you so much for welcoming us into your home and letting us feed your sweet Maltipoo!

My dog, Storie, loves all the flavors. I love that it’s shel-stable. Her coat is looking so good and she’s lost some weight.

Storie is officially out here shining! ✨ Dropping those extra pounds and getting that gorgeous, glossy coat is the ultimate proof of real, clean nutrition doing its work from the inside out. Great quality - maybe more meat 85/15veg for bigger breeds - but other than that it is a brilliant way of feeding! Oh and my kid (yes he is my kid, I don’t care what people or doctors say hehe) loves it<— oh and I am doctor! Hahaha “MY KID”!!
Response from Happy HowlJul 19, 2026
This completely made our day! Parents know best, and we fully support you claiming him as your kid (regardless of what the medical books say!). Thank you so much for the incredible compliment on the quality of our food! We also love your suggestion about pumping up the protein to an 85/15 mix specifically for the big guys. We take our pack's feedback very seriously as we look toward future recipe developments, so this is incredibly helpful. Give your 'kid' a giant belly scratch from the whole team!
