Told my financial instituion blocked my card
UPDATE: I received a call from a very nice representative in response to my review. I very rarely write a negative review, but this business needs to provide better training to its team. I am requesting that Trust Pilot remove the review, since I was assured the team would be advised how to address the problem properly in the future. While trying to buy a $100 gift card, my purchase was declined on two valid cards. I was told by The Gift Card Shop that my credit card was blocked by my financial institution, and I must call them to ask them to remove the block. I called and was told there was no block and that the financial institution is not allowed to block purchases. I spent a good 45 minutes on this with no result.
