It works, but software is a nightmare. Difficult to switch from area coverage to monitoring specific aircraft. Good idea, but needs better user app interface.

I could not get it to connect to my Android phone, only to find it only connects with I phones, so it was lucky my Son has an iPhone, the only way to control it is when he is home to change the settings, no here on the Website does it warn you of this incompatibility issue with Android devices,am pretty annoyed to be honest.

I love this device. Slight problem setting it up but company quickly help solve my problem. Great features.

As an avgeek, the Flightwall is an absolute blast, and it keeps me excited all day long. I'm learning airport codes, getting inspired by new travel destinations, and picking up plenty about new aircraft and airlines along the way. The simple, clean look and feel is just right, and it gives you all the data you need. If you love planes, buy it. I guarantee you'll enjoy it.

It was easy to setup. No subscription. I bought 2, one for myself and one for my son who is an F15 pilot.

Connecting my Flightwall was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. First of all, while I'm not a computer and WiFi expert, I'm generally pretty good at these tech matters. Here's my experience: I wasted about an hour trying to connect using the Flightwall app on my Android phone. I followed all the procedures in the manual and on the app. I could see the Flightwall WiFi network when I checked available networks. There just was no way that the setup process would take me any farther, no matter what I tried. It always displayed the "failure to connect" pop-up message. Before giving up, I decided to load the app onto my iPad. Lo and behold! The setup process was successfully completed...but not after having to unplug the Flightwall and restart it. (That's not a big deal, but it's just one more annoyance.) Yes, it's working now, but I started with high hopes of a simple, straightforward setup experience. I experienced anything but. [09/23/2026] I would like to make some additions to my original post. First of all, I'd like to acknowledge the response from the Flightwall team. It appears that they have fixed the problem that Android users were having with the setup. While I have not verified this (as noted above, I was able to use my iPad for the setup once I got frustrated with the Andoid issue), I have no reason to doubt that they have resolved the Android problem. I would also like to add that, now that I have become more familiar with my Flightwall, I really do like it very much. It's not perfect, but it is very, very cool, and I'm gonna keep it!

Unfortunately, my experience with Flightwall has been extremely disappointing. The device simply does not work properly and I have been unable to get it to connect. What makes the situation even worse is the complete lack of customer support. I have contacted support multiple times but have received no response at all. It feels like they simply ignore customers once the product has been sold. At this point, I have a device that I cannot use and no support to help resolve the issue. Very frustrating experience and definitely not what I expected. Edit: Found, that it works with an apple-device, but still no support from TheFlightWall - reddit helped - so i change it to three stars.
