My dog has been on your diet for several months now, and has lost weight and looks very good indeed. However he does have some spitting up issues and sometimes his tummy growls and he has loose stools. I have decided to give him a rest from this diet and see how he is for the next few weeks. I tend to feed him 3 times a day instead of just twice a day. I think that helps him. I will let you know how we do. Thanks for your help. Penny and Jasper

Switching to this food is the best thing I've done for my dog. She no longer has flatulence all day, her coat is smoother, and other skin irritations have disappeared! She is super excited when she sees me prepare her bowl, every time. And the best thing is that her weight is maintained perfectly. It took a few adjustments in portion size, but once we got it right, it works perfectly. It's pricey, but completely worth every penny.

I wish I could give Farmer’s Dog 12 out of 5 stars. It’s a great company with food that it so good for our dog. To top it off, the customer service is beyond exceptional. From feeding quantity questions to traveling with the food, there is someone on the other end who you know loves your dog and wants what’s best for your pup. I love this company so much.

A friend recommended Farmer’s Dog after witnessing a huge improvement with his 10yr old hound mix. My small 15yr old pup has a heart murmur and had slowed down considerably in recent years. Prior to switching to Farmer’s Dog, I had to coax her to eat and she would tire out on short walks, so much so that I carried her most of the way. In addition, she suffered from chronic skin allergies and ear infections. All her health issues had us at the vets multiple times a month. After approximately 6weeks on Farmer’s Dog her appetite improved, and after a few months her chronic skin and ear problems pretty much disappeared. She is now excited at meal time (and ravenous) and she has so much energy—literally prancing on her daily walks! I’ve always fed her quality dog food so I was frankly shocked that Farmer’s Dog could make such a huge difference. While Farmer’s Dog is pricier, the improvement in my pup’s quality of life not to mention the money I’ve since saved at the vets, it’s well worth it!

Great service. The deliveries are timely. My dog loves it. She's lost weight and is more energetic. We started her at 25% of her caloric needs with 75% her usual feed. She is up to 50% Farmers Dog now.

This is the only food my elderly chihuahua will eat and he enjoys it daily. He can no longer eat by himself due to poor balance and vision so every evening he snuggles in my lap and I help him enjoy his nice warm meal. He loves all of it even the lentils!! Haha. Thanks for a great product!
