Excellent service wonderful quality

Iris, our English Bulldog, is thriving on her new diet. Not only is it good for her, but we, as owners, are confident that we are feeding her the best diet available. She dances in circles when we go the refrigerator to get out her evening delicacy of beef, chicken , or turkey. The product come when promised and is well packaged and still frozen when we receive it. If ever there is a question regarding quantities or spacing of shipments, the personnel are always friendly and helpful.

My little, 5 pound Morkie is a picky eater. I’ve tried many different brands of dog food for her...dry food, wet food, fresh food, but the outcome is always the same. She sniffs and sniffs, and if she decides to try it, she hesitantly nibbles a bit, before running off uninterested. One brand, she ate the first bowl I gave to her, but she wouldn’t eat it again. After receiving my first order from The Farmer’s Dog, I gave her a small bowl of the beef food, and she loved it! I think she sniffed it one time, then gobbled the whole thing down. She even licked the bowl clean! After a few hours, I gave her another small bowl, and she gobbled it down, too. I’ve never seen her eat dog food like that before. She’s been eating The Farmer’s Dog food for a week and a half now. She loves the chicken and turkey recipes as much as she did the beef. She looks forward to meal time now, and I’ve noticed a huge decline in her wanting my “human“ food. She did have a little constipation on the 3rd day after switching to this brand, but it only lasted a day. I am so pleased with The Farmer’s Dog and so is Charlie!

I have been using the farmer's dog recipes for over 6 months now for my two boys. One is a chihuahua mix and my other one is a long hair mix breed tri-pawd. After my one boy got cancer and had his front limb amputated I wanted him on the best food possible. The Farmer's dog did not dissapoint. It always arrives on time in individual labeled packs. The food looks and smells great and most importantly my dogs love it. The ingrediants are top shelf. My boys are thriving. I never run out. I never have to go to the store and the price point per month is comparible to buying good canned food. All in all I would highly recommend the Farmer's Dog to anyone.

My two dogs love their new food! I love the precise portions (they were a bit overweight). My 8 year old has more playful energy and they both have softer fur than before.

My dog loves this food. They do great shipping it fresh. He gets a variety of meats. Only thing is I would like to see different packaging

My 5-year-old dog likes The Farmer's Dog and cleans up her dish since I began feeding her with it about two weeks ago. When I adopted Goldie at the end of April, she was being fed a quality kibble at the shelter, and of course, I continued with that at first. However, she would eat it very slowly and chew each piece carefully, and she would come reluctantly to eat and often leave about half the portion or turn away and not eat at all. At first, I put this down to new surroundings and to not having any "competition". But when she got more comfortable with being handled, I checked her bite more closely, and she has got a marked overbite (at least 1/8 inch or slightly more); she has difficulty taking small treats from my fingers without dropping them and cannot, for example, "bite off" a bit of a slice of egg or grip it like a dog with a correct bite can. So I suspect this misalignment has made it harder for her to chew and pick up food to eat. (She also does not chew on her chews or bones for very long.) This is probably similar to someone with dental issues that make it hard for them to eat nuts or popcorn or raw vegetables and fruit like carrots or apples. Now Goldie can eat much more comfortably, eats the entire portion, and is actually looking forward to eating and even coming to ask for her meals, as much for that reason, I think, as for the appetance of the Farmer's Dog blends. She still enjoys crunchy treats, but she doesn't have to eat a bowlful of hard kibble for meals anymore. She has adjusted quickly and well with no digestive issues and is lively and happy. Fresh foods are another way people can help a pet with dental problems to eat more comfortably and get the right nutrition, as well as enjoy their food. The scheduling and packaging are convenient and the support team at The Farmer's Dog has been prompt and helpful. I'm glad I made the choice to switch to The Farmer's Dog.
