-Saved a few hundred dollars in vet bills by switching to The Farmers Dog. Skin cleared up, teeth got better, lost weight, not vomiting randomly. -I can personally attest the food tastes good. It’s real food you can see in the bag (celery, potatoes, meat, corn, carrot, etc.) -My dog has never turned down a meal since switching. -More appropriate bathroom usage now. -Personable customer service for questions. -I literally cannot forget to get him food, it autoships.

Our experience with Farmer’s Dog food is basically peace of mind. You literally know that your feeding your dog the most nutritious, fresh food available for them. I feel such gratification that our dog is enjoying healthy food that she devours immediately! Thank you Farmer’s Dog!

Recently I decided to give the Farmer's Dog a try for my 3 small dogs. I chose the DIY option using their nutrition packet because I thought it might be more affordable. But, with the cost of groceries right now I'm not so sure. First, buying the amount of human grade food that is required for each recipe is still very expensive. Making their food is also very time consuming. I weigh by the gram all of the ingredients. It takes me all afternoon to make enough food for 2 weeks. I am still transitioning them to the food. They have been eating it for about a week now and I haven't fully transitioned them yet because one of my dogs has a super sensitive tummy to any food changes. I put half of their old food (Instinct canned which they LOVE) on one side of the bowl and the Farmers Dog food on the other side of the bowl. They gobble up the Farmers Dog food first every time. Then they eat the canned food. My plan is to figure out how much I am spending on groceries to make their food and the amount of time I am spending cooking their food vs the cost of just going with the prepared food option from the Farmers Dog. It's very expensive either way, of course, but as with most dog owners these days, the health of my dogs makes it worth it if you can afford to do it.

I trust the farmer’s dog probably a little too much with the health of my pup. They have good customer service and are flexible with making changes to your orders. I feel it’s well worth the money to give fresh food my dog won’t ever stop loving and will keep him healthier longer.

The ordering process was seamless. Before I could cancel the follow up order after the discounted trial offer, I received the next shipment. That was unfortunate. My thirty seven pound two year old Portuguese Water Dog dislikes the beef, chicken and turkey recipes. She finds the smell offensive. Even adding bacon the dog refuses to eat the food. Now unfortunately I have 3 weeks of frozen dog food that I will have to throw away. I am sure there are dogs that like the food, but don’t expect all dogs to like it. As a follow up Farmer’s Dog customer representative contacted me and offered a refund. It was totally unexpected and not the intent of my review. This act shows that the company should be trusted and fully stands by their product. This is a five star company that deserves all the high ratings it receives. Wow!!

I'm very happy so far ☺️. Been 1 month since I joined the farmers family and my dogs have let me know how they feel about the food by there excitement every day when they see me take it out. They love it. It looks and smells great. No more nasty canned food or kibble. It's so easy to prepare and worth every cent seeing my baby's loving every bite
