My picky pitbull loves his food. He won't even eat the dog food in the fridge isle at the pet store. My only issues is 1. I don't truly know if it's vet recommended and 2. The price is a lot per day. I feel like the price should be about $3 cheaper per day than what it is.

The food seems to be good. Our dog does go through phases where he won’t eat it but that’s his pickiness issue. Deducted a star because the packaging is a total pain. Often there is food stuck on the sides or corners of the package. It gets messy and is inconvenient to get it all out. We mix it in so have to transfer it to a reusable container in the fridge. For the price we pay I don’t want to waste any and also think it should be easier to get out.

Dogs love the food and unbelievable how much they like. Only occasional problem is the shipping people through this box around and the product is frozen solid and it cuts to plastic cartons that the foods in and that's my only problem is because that leeks. But I don't believe it's the company its the shipping people. My dogs look better and love this food and I think they're worth it I'm feeding a big Doberman Pinscher male and a yorkie poo. They do somersaults when I'm getting ready to feed them seriously...

My dog loves the food and happily dances to her bowl every time. I could have given you 5 stars if you could reply to messages. I have requested a change in the number of packets sent each month with no response to messages sent twice.

My doggie (Django) really enjoys the food, however on two occasions I have actually ran out before receiving next scheduled shipment. Also, I’ve notice the difference in packaging sizes between the chicken n beef flavors ( beef being smaller), which leads me to add extra when feeding beef packets to make sure he’s getting enough.

Lastly, we did want to mention that because our beef recipe is the densest protein we offer, it takes less volume of food to meet his daily caloric requirements resulting in smaller packs in comparison to his chicken recipe. You cannot beat the food or the customer service from Farmers Dog. The only complaint is the shipping and that’s not their fault. UPS and FedEx are getting lousy with their deliveries and are making great companies like Farmers Dog hang out to dry with their customers.
