Unfortunately the Christmas 3 Course meal was pretty awful. Lukewarm food, although good slices of turkey was so dry instead of being succulent or tasty. Vegetables were frozen & lacked flavour. If you are going to put on a Christmas meal, at least know what you are doing. Cannot fault the waitress service. Won't be paying 67.99 again.

Done with Farmer's Dog
My dogs like the food but they have forgotten food, screwed up labeling. I have 3 dogs and just got food where my smallest dogs name was on the biggest dog food and while I called to complain she gave me label numbers so I can figure it out but they just have an attitude as if they don't care..
Done with them. Not the quality I expected..watery food as well. Time to find something better. I expect more for the price.

I ordered 1st week of farmers dog
I ordered 1st week of farmers dog, introduced the good according to the chart sent, my dog is 14 years old and has a delicate stomach which I specified. I started her on the food 4 days ago. I am at 50/50. Today she has had diarrhea. She has tried in the past different foods and never had diarrhea before. I am watching her closely but if she continues with the same issue, will stop giving her the food.
I ended up throwing all that food away..My dog continued having diarrhea with blood.
Had to put her on a blend diet.
I do not recommend this food.

Ayda, we're so sorry to hear that your dog has been experiencing diarrhea. While every dog's system is different in terms of transitioning to a new diet, and digestive changes can be normal during this period, our number one priority is always the health and safety of the dogs we feed. We see that one of our specialists was able to get in touch with you, but please let us know if we can do anything else to help.

Switched from ProPlan
Switched from ProPlan. Feeding a 5 year old lab and 12.5 year old Great Dane / Hound rescue. Dane was getting picky, lab would eat most anything. After a few months Dane stopped eating Farmers Dog. Switched back to ProPlan. Lab could care less and noticed no difference in activity level but did notice periodic diarrhea. Running out Lab’s Farmers Dog and likely will return all to ProPlan.

Customer service is lack luster
I have contacted customer service numerous times to address the issues of delivery to work with my schedule so I can ensure I receive the fresh food when I am home secondary to work constraints. After 3 phone calls, I spoke with someone who noted that we circumvented the problem. My deliveries started routinely arriving on days when I was home. Then, slowly the days kept being pushed back until again, I am never home when the perishable food arrives. I cancelled the subscription but still another box of food was sent and will not be delivered as my mail is on hold for vacation. When contacting the company, I was told this was my fault that the food will be delivered after the dry ice has long since evaporated. Would you not think that when you cancel a subscription, it is cancelled? I am now at a loss of $180.
With respect to their food choices, my dogs refused to eat the chicken formulation. Both of my dogs would rather not eat for day instead of eating it. I lost so much money with these packs in my freezer.

Farmer's dog (fd)
so I fell for the advertisement for fd. Ordered 2 weeks of food for 3 dogs, 2 bichons 8 and 7 years and 1 masstiff 2 years. Masstiff has no issues with the food but honestly, she would eat chicken poop if I let her. The bichon's are another story, they hate it. So much so that they take turns starving themselves, I hate making them starve until they will finally break down and eat something they hate. While their primary dog food is science diet, I also cook for them daily, eggs, meat, veggies, and of course yogurt with fresh blueberries. I though fd would save me time but the little ones won't eat it and I don't blame them, it smells stright up like poop to me. When I say it smells like poop I don't mean metaphorically I mean the first time I opened a pack I thought one of them had an accident. So after a week of trying offering it cold, warmed, with food, on the side I'm giving up. I now have a freezer full of food they won't eat, not to mention the money I wasted on it, ugh.

My pug doesn't care for all the vegetables in the food. He is also not as energetic and has chronic constipation as a result of eating the food. He also doesn't really care for it and will eat it as a last resort. It doesn't have enough protein for any dog and his activity level is proof.
