My dog loves the food. She adapted very fast and very well, and this company has the best customer service ever. I totally recommend.

7 yrs ago I rescued a 4mo old, small mixed lab, dobie, pit from the SPCA for $35! Named him Tido! Within 2 years he grew to 80lbs and by 5yrs old he was 107 lbs! His Vet Dr Wood recommended I switch him to The Farmers Dog food from dry food (and lots of human food “treats”). Thank you Dr Wood! Tido is now 7yrs old and has lost 17 lbs of fat! He is as healthy as a dog can be and I will never change his eating plan away from The Farmers Dog food!

The Farmer's Dog is a blessing! We have 5 chihuahuas and used to make our pup's food from scratch. It took hours and hours each week, but we wanted the very best for them. However, it was hard to ensure the right amount of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals were included in each batch, so we decided to do some research. When we looked into The Farmer's Dog, we were pleasantly surprised in what we learned. Knowing that our precious pups are all getting human-grade quality, nutrient-rich, and tasty food means so much to us! It is so easy to customize and adjust meal plans for each of them based on their age, level of activity, and how many treats we give them. They love all 3 meal recipes as well as the Snap Sticks! All we need to say is 'Snap?' And they get so excited! Thank you, The Farmer's Dog for providing our most precious loved ones with the best and tastiest food, keeping them healthy and happy! 💜

I have two dogs. One a senior Pitty and a 4 month old Saint Bernard. They both love the Farmer's Dog. I have used all mine and will be ready to order again soon. I wanted to and will try all the good frozen products out there so when I got my shipment of Farmer's Dog I cancelled because there was no way I could see to just order one box. But I have a feeling I will be back and the Farmer's Dog is going to win, but I have to be sure. I have a couple issues, but I left a 5 because 4.5 was not an option. The food comes frozen and on time The box is great. It comes with a plastic closing tray to keep the unused bag. Your tray is the best of all I have seen and believe me when I tell you I am trying them all. I can get the bags apart without a hammer (I tell you some send it so badly). I set out 3 because my dogs pretend they are starving and the rest I freeze. It is easy to freeze and make room for in my frig (again, love the tray) and freezer. The dogs love it. I toss it in the microwave for 20 seconds (thawed) and they are ever so happy. I am doing this with all the frozen I am trying and they now think the microwave means run to food. It looks good and smells good. It has the ingredients I want with one exception which I will note below. The food does not have freezer burn when you open it. Some do. Gross. Out of all I have tried so far the Farmer's dog is their favorite. Now, my little issues. My Saint Bernard is a Giant Breed dog and you don't make a recipe for Giant Breeds and this I find important, especially with a puppy who is growing so fast. I do have to supplement with wet canned Giant Breed dog food and some dry Giant Breed as well. There is just certain things they need. I don't have to do this with my Pit Bull, he is just considered Large Breed and your food is perfect for him. My second little issue is the bag. I can open it, no problem, I love the cut marks to show me where to cut for how much I want to give. But it is a tad messy, they all are so far, I have to use a spoon to get it all out and then it is on my hands. I wish you had one of those little plastic things at the bottom on the bag so I could just use that and out it would come out and the plastic tab thing (I have no idea what this is called) would just move up. I know that messes with the cut areas you have, but my pitty gets a full bag at his two meals a day. If you could do that, I would be happy to pay a wee extra for the ease. All in all I really love the Farmer's Dog. The web site is great. The customer service is wonderful and my dogs love it. So thanks for that.

My almost 10 year old mixed breed dog Skyler, has been eating Farmers Dog since November. She is visibly healthier and slimmer. People we’ve know for years have told us. The other day we were walking, and a friend who hadn’t seen her in a while said “Wow, look at Skyler!” What I wanted to share, however, is her energy level. Specifically, she’s back to playing with her toys. I’ve just recently noticed she’s is going back into to toy box, taking things out and actually playing with them! It’s been years since she’s done that. My daughter also noticed that her “utters” are gone as well, LOL 😆!!

Thank you for all you do for dogs everywhere. Our Boston Terrier Juliette was obese & could barely walk due to some neurological problems that helped to make her obese. Your food has improved her health so much, it's incredible. She lost nearly 11 pounds and now not only walks but goes up & downstairs, runs & scratches dirt over her poops! She no longer needs her wheelchair at all, nor her sling. We changed nothing except her diet. She still takes Prednisone and gabapentin but we are talking with our vet about lowering & possibly soon stopping them & seeing how she does. The pred brings its own list of problems so I'm hoping she can get along without that. So, thank you so very, very much for the miracle your food has done for Juliette & I'm sure countless other dogs out there.

I knew Farmers Dog was quality because my oldest dog who was picky. His whole life gets very excited when it’s time to eat. My younger dog had IVDD surgery and would not eat at the hospital the food they were trying to feed him. They were concerned for him not eating, so I brought him Farmers Dog from home, and he began to eat, and was excited to eat! Not to mention it got him home a lot sooner. Thank you Farmers Dog for doing what you do. I’d have two pups that are happy. 😁

I feel better giving my dogs, a higher quality of food. Both have been on it since I adopted them from puppies. I’ve seen a lot of information about pellets being rancid and sprayed on color and flavor. My dogs mean a lot to me and their health is my priority. I know this is an expensive subscription service and I know everyone cannot afford it. You can also try to make this yourself if you have time, but I definitely think, in the long run, this will be less expensive based on having healthier dogs with less veterinary visits. My dogs love it and they look happy, fit and healthy. Customer Service has always been very responsive so I’m confused on any negative customer service reviews because this has not been my experience.
