The Farmer's DogReviews of thefarmersdog.com

Where can I leave a 10 star review on this awesome food. My dogs have never been healthier and it's made my life so much easier because I was cooking scratch with organic meat but you all have the ingredients right because they are no longer constipated. They now have healthy white bowel movements, no more bad breath. They both stopped licking their paws and scratching. This has saved me money and time and vet bills too. Thank you

I had written a review for Farmer's Dog about an issue that is no longer! They made everything right, above and beyond! I have deleted the other review...I hope. Thank you Farmer's Dog! I will continue to use FD. The dog's love it and so do I. If you have any issues please contact them. They care about your pet and that you want to feed them the best you can❤️

My German shepherd, Atreus, and I have walked 2.5 miles a day while he was eating the dry over processed junk food. Last year, his physical therapist said he needed to get down to 90 pounds to prevent future hip problems. At the time he was 110. No matter how much we walk or how much I reduced his dry junk food, his weight didn’t change. She recommended a lower caloric brand but it was still junk. So in March of 2023 I took a chance on Farmers Dog. He ate the beef meal with added fresh green beans. Last week, he weighed in at 88 lbs. For the first time since 12/19, when I adopted him, he has the physique of a German shepherd.

Our pet rescue took in a very emaciated 8 year old French Bulldog. The owner of the rescue shared her dogs’ Farmer’s Dog food for her, and almost immediately we noticed improvement in her hair coat, and her bony hips, shoulders, and ribs began to round out. In a little over two months she had gained a healthy amount of weight to enable her to have a life saving BOAS surgery. I was her foster mom, and now I have adopted her! She is a perfect weight right now, and I am mixing Farmer’s Dog with a little bit of good quality kibble. I wish it was in my budget to feed all three of my dogs strictly Farmer’s Dog, but I can’t right now. I hope to be able to add some into my other two dog’s diet at some point. Thank you helping to save the life of miss Joon Bug!

Clear communication from staff for delivery, starting the food and then continuous use. Quick response to answer any questions. The food is high quality and you can see the ingredients! My dogs know when it’s time for food and they’re doing so much better on it!

Cheetah is 18, a chihuahua and was always finicky with her food and I hated the grocery store brands because I didn't think they were healthy. Since being with The Farmer’s Dog and trying the various flavors, her choice is the BEEF. She now wolfs down her dinner every night! 😁 No more fussiness. Note: Cheetah - Chihuahua who turned 18 on August 6th, has been eating The Farmer’s Dog food for a couple of years. My testimony or her testimony is that because of their food she is still going strong! I am so HAPPY I found The Farmer’s Dog! Baker is 12 and is a mixed breed (Corgi/Alaskan Malamute) and will eat anything and everything! Lol. She loves the beef as well! Both dogs gobble their food and plates are left clean. 😁

I've tried so many different brands and varieties of dog food. I finally landed on The Farmer's Dog. I noticed the difference it made in my daughter's dog after just 1 week. That made me want to try it. My dogs love it, and no stomach upset (which happened in the past) and my one dog who could just slowly walk up one stair at a time, is now stepping with pep up the stairs after 2 weeks on FD. (Both my dogs are 13, and my daughter's dog is 4.) Plus The Farmer's Dog customer service is wonderful. I've texted them at all different times, day or night, and they answer. It's a little more money than the average pet food but it's so worth it!

My dog Clover absolutely loves the Farmer's Dog food and it gives me great satisfaction and peace of mind to know I'm feeding her healthy food that she loves. While the food is much more expensive on a monthly basis than kibble, and they do upfront try to sell you a full plan, you can opt for a basic starter plan which is a partial daily feed plan to start replacing whatever you had been feeding. Then you can increase or decrease your order amounts on your monthly orders going forward. I highly recommend giving them a try!
