This company doesn’t forget you once the delivery is made; they are very responsive with follow up emails or phone correspondence. Our 13 1/2 year old Greyhound loves her meals and looks forward to them. After feeding her what we thought was high grade kibble all her life, it’s a relief knowing that she will finally have a proper nutritious diet for the remainder of her days. We truly believe this change will add years to our Callie Girls life. We have noticed an improvement in her overall health, appetite, and happiness. Please take a chance like we did. I have been using The Farmers Dog for two years. I was shocked at the difference it made in our miniature poodle. She lost 10 lbs. And here eye staining stopped completely. Her allergies went away AND since she is an old dog 13+ it helped her hold her bladder. I just had to stop as my wife was diagnosed with cancer. The folks at The Farmers Dog refunded a pending order and sent out the order on them. It arrived the day we got some more bad news and it restored our faith in mankind. I was helped by customer service, a woman named Holly. Extremely patient & very helpful, I would’ve lost my mind without her! Also the food— absolutely wonderful. My dogs love it and I switch between this and fresh pet but they definitely prefer farmers!

It’s only been a few days and I can already see a difference. My 13y/o dog is slimming down and some of his lipomas are also looking smaller. He loves the food and I feel better feeding him this food as opposed to the high quality dry food he was on previously. The food delivery service is convenient with good communication about when to expect the delivery. The only problem is that I didn’t start this service sooner. Better late than never!

My ALD pup, Lemon, was having some tummy trouble to the high quality kibble we fed her. She was throwing up almost every other day. We asked our vet and they said it was normal for puppies to do that; that she probably was just eating or drinking to fast or she got in to something. I knew it was probably more than, but I tried putting her food in a slow feeder, only giving her little bits of water at a time, and still, nothing worked. She also would hardly ever finish all her food. Once she didn’t eat any dry for a day or two, and I was worried, but I just thought she was picky. I had heard of the farmers dog before and loved there mission, but we never fed it to our dogs because they did fine on their dry food and the price tag was noticeably higher. Finally, we decided to give the Farmers Dog a shot and I am so glad we did! She has not thrown up once and has licked her bowl clean ever since we switched. I know this review is long, (and usually I don’t even leave reviews) but I just have one more thing, The costumer service is FABULOUS!!! On my most recent order, I had to rush it because Lemon was running low (I let someone borrow a pack). Costumer service immediately changed my delivery date to arrive in two days! It actually ended up arriving one day early (which me and Lemon were ecstatic about) but for some reason when I went to track the package, it said it was on the way. I thought it would update the best day but it still didn’t. Neither would the website; still showing she only had two packs left. I contacted costumer service and immediately I was texted back and the problem was solved. I’ll never feed my dogs another food again, we are forever grateful.

Unbelievable! What transition period? Gabby has been a very picky eater; sometimes going up to three days without eating. The moment I open the Farmer's Dog container holding her food, she gets excited, jumping up on the cabinet (well, 'jumping up' as high as a 7 lb. dog can...) and starts with the 'zoomies' until her food is placed on the floor. I followed the transition recommendation and gave her half of the old food and half of FD. She pulled out all the old food and dumped it on the floor and wolfed down the FD. So much for transition..... Gabby can even be picky with her treats. The Snap Treats, however, are something else. We have to hide the bag as she becomes fixated on it if it's in view. She's now quite eager to do her 'tricks for treats'. In just two days, she's so eager to get her ST that she goes through her tricks without a command. We've always been concerned and stressed about her prior eating habits. Not any more. Thank you, Famer's Dog.
