I was super shy to call FD again to switch to a low-fat supplement plan because I had just switched from the regular fresh plan to the low-fat Chicken recipe, and received a email stating “ no recipe has more fat than what some of the largest vet brands also produce.”in an email from one of the agents regarding the original recipes. But I knew the increase in price was not sustainable for us. I researched other brands like Just Food for Dogs, and Honest Kitchen, but their supplement powder recipes involved quite a bit of shopping and finding a Butcher. So I took a deep breath and called. I ended up speaking to the most wonderful customer service agent, Polina. She was so understanding and explained everything thoroughly. I wanted to give this review to let the company know she is awesome. Thank you for not having us talk to computers and try to click through a bunch of stuff to get to a Human. And thank you for having people like Polina.

I worked with Adam B. fairly early this morning to figure out how many calories I exactly needed to feed since I'm giving some kibble with the Farmer's Dog. I have to say he was amazing, as well as other reps at this company. They answer the phone and get right to helping you...no going through a multitude of AI agents just to get help. Also, 3 YO toy aussie has excelled on this product and has lot 3-4 lbs. However, the puppy seems to have slight digestive issues so vet recommended some kibble to firm things up. I just needed Adam's help to determine number of calories for her and how much of each food so I didn't over or under feed her. He was truly a huge help!!!

I hardly ever write reviews, but today, I'm going to - our senior dog, Asha, has perked up since we started her on The Farmer's Dog. She's 12, and we walk briskly, even jogging, on our morning walks. She loves the flavors I picked for her. I've seen some people complain about the freezing and defrosting. I believe the fact that the food is fresh is worth it, and I don't mind the routine at all. Secondly, and this is what's gotten me to write a review, the customer service at The Farmer's Dog is off the charts. They've performed not one, but two acts of kindness that nearly had me in tears. They're amazing. From my heart, I can't recommend them enough.

My dog loved his first batch of this food. However, he's a senior and I honestly think he gets bored with food, and is not very food motivated. It's very easy to pause the order or change the shipping date, which I did to figure out if a little break would help him to like it again. My biggest shoutout is to customer service. I missed the reminder email and saw that I had been charged for the next order when looking at my credit card. It was the same day. I reached out via text, and immediately someone texted back and said that, even though they were in the process of preparing, they were able to cancel and postpone the current order. Outstanding customer service. Definitely giving it another try after our break.

9/19/26 Exemplary Customer Service Today I had the awesome privilege of speaking with The Farmer's Dog exemplary employee Nick via text. Nick was kind and passionate about my pup Mercy Grace JOY. He listened and responded promptly to each text. He was truly interested in our conversation. I thank God for today's conversation with Nick and how he brightened my weekend. JOB WELL DONE NICK 🤩👏👏. You are recognized as a prize employee in our heart and I'm certain you will receive accolades from The Farmer's Dog. Gratefully Mercy Grace JOY 👸🐶 and Mom/Kathy PS... She loves her Turkey meal and treats😋

Our dog has lost weight and her blood work has improved significantly since she has been on Farmers Dog food.

I tried Farmers Dog for weight loss. My baby lost 10 pounds within a month. Otis would jump up in excitement when I was serving Farmers Dog. Never saw that before. But it got to be expensive so I tried Ollie, Spot & Tango and Pets Table. I am here to say that Farmers Dog is superior in every way. Their customer service is stellar! They always answer within 2 hours! And you feel like you're talking to a friend! The shipping is superior. I ended up throwing away several meals of Ollie and Pets Table because they were thawed. ALL of the companies could learn how to ship with dry ice from Farmers Dog! Also the quality of the bags they use is superior. The others leak or get air in them causing them to be unuseable. I am now back to Farmers Dog and am VERY happy! Obviously the taste, ingredients and quality are obvious. I would like to add that I did like the convenience of Spot & Tango but my doggie got bored very quickly and they won't let you pay for 2 weeks but bill monthly. I can't afford to pay monthly. Farmers Dog is HIGH above all other companies and all their cost is about the same. Really. Obviously I can't say enough.

I just received my first order! I can’t say anything besides how truly impressed I am. My first box came with freeze dried bags, and some other cooling method, nothing was even close to being thawed. The box also came with instructions, and Winnie’s personalized handling instructions. I received a nice quality storage container for the fridge so I can put away the thawed weekly meal! Soon I will be seeing if my dog likes it, which I’m sure he will! Thank you farmer’s dog for the great service!
