If I could give 100 stars I would. I have written a review before but I feel I really should write one again. My 12 year old chihuahua is so fussy. Won’t eat a thing it worries me. We recently moved and he lost weight. Went down to 3 lbs from 4 lbs I quickly let farmers dog know and they were on to it. Increased his calorie intake by 15%. I also discovered he would only eat the turkey after ordering a mix of diff meats. The customer service was nice enough to refund me what we couldn’t eat and put a rush on the food order. Also gave me a recipe to make my own donut didn’t come in time. They are always quick to respond and very very helpful. They love what they are doing and truly look out for their customers and their pets it gives me great comfort in knowing they are always there for us !! You won’t be disappointed in the food or this company !!!

I have a VERY FINICKY Mini Schnauzer, I bought everything from most expensive to cooking him food and on most days he turned his nose up to it. So I thought why not try Framers Dog, do the trial and see how it goes. For the first time in the 10 years I’ve had Milo it’s the first time he has consistently not only ate his food but asks for it! And so far customer service has been great. Contacting me to see how things are going and making sure I don’t under order or overstock his food. We are hooked on this food and service!

Wow just wow!!!!! The Farmers Dog is amazing!!!! I have a Bichon Poodle, 18 months old. I have her since she was 3 months old. Hope is my little powder puff. She is not only a pretty white with some apricot she has the cutest personality, and such a good girl. There was one thing I had to fix, her finicky appetite! I tried everything. The best food there is. I had to add Meal Mixers to everything. She would eat the meal mixers and leave the food. I started cooking for her, she liked what we ate lol. I cut out treats, I was beside myself, then I saw The Farmers Dog!!!! She gobbled it up. Hope is very healthy with a beautiful coat, 14 1/2 lbs of powder puff lol and I wanted to keep her healthy so I tried the sample they offered. Hope is hooked, and so am I. It’s The Farmer’s Dog for our house from now on. It’s real food and veggies (like we eat) with a multitude of vitamins! The representatives are so nice and helpful, they get back to you right away. They are extremely professional. Great company, great food!!!! The food is prepared with her name on the bags and the recipe. It comes in a freezer box, and a surprise insulated bag for on the go meals. I couldn’t be happier! I told Hope’s vet, he said it’s the best food around. I told Hope’s groomer, she said she just started giving it to her 2 dogs! Thank you The Farmer’s Dog, you have made Hope and I very happy, and her Daddy 😊

We were turned on to Farmers Dog because one of our parents' dog used this food. We planned to give it to our new pup when she was 'old enough'. We got our 8 week old Morkie from the breeder with instructions to give their kibble and transition them slowly after a month or so. Except our puppy wouldn't eat the kibble provided - she was so small, we were keeping her levels up with NutriStat. She simply wouldn't eat. We came to find out later, she was 'weaned' from her mom the day we picked her up - so we were given a puppy that had never not eaten from her momma. Well, we had already received our trial delivery from Farmers' Dog and so we had nothing to do and set it down in front of her. She gobbled it up - fast. She didn't eat much because she weighed just 1 lb so our trial pack lasted for a long time, but it was the only food she ate. And she loved it. She was pooping fine, with solid healthy stools. She was thriving and playful and she was gaining weight. At her 3 week (after we got her) checkup, she was already up to 1.8 lbs and she was loving her food. It's been fantastic. And let me say a word about the service. Because I read a review on her that it's poor. And I can't imagine how that reviewing got the experience. We have received nothing but exceptional service. We got a standard shipping text for her next box and I replied that the dry ice was gone. I was quickly followed up with ways to make sure it was ok and they gave my tips in case it wasn't. Through text, I was checked on and our dog's diet was reviewed thoroughly since she never 'transitioned' from another food. They have asked for pictures of our dog. They work with us on timing (it's so easy to change the delivery date on the website in your account) because she's so small, she eats less than their least recommended portions (1/4 bag per day). She now eats about that, but again, you can change your shipment dates and your dog's size and body shape easily. I have no doubt that if I had questions about anything, there is a team there to help me and my puppy. I love our dog more than anything and would never give her anything (especially at a price that is slightly higher than dry food...and I will say more about that later) that would be harmful to her. Ever. I research and investigate. I ask questions and I....very important...check with her vet. This food, this service is fantastic. I do truly feel they have my interest as a dog parent and my dog's interest first and foremost. The cost - yes, it's on the high end - I admit that and especially so if you have a large dog that consumes a lot. But I feel the health benefits outweigh that. Our vet is amazed at her progress (she was a premie and runt of the litter) and how her food is sustaining her. It 'may' reduce future vet bills...I can't say that definitively at this point, but I can say that she is eating well, healthy and seems to be thriving. And to know I have good service and people that stand behind the product. I have no doubt, that if our puppy needed something different, they would help me transition her out, even if that meant losing business because they care about pets. But I don't think I have to worry about that. Our dog is doing great - we love the service - and all is well. This is a good thing for your dog....truly.

My dog struggled with consistent ear infections being treated by medications. Following one month on The Farmer’s Dog his ear infections were gone. Nothing but great things to say about this company and their product!

Absolutely amazing transformation of my 6 lb. Yorkshire Terrier mix. As an example of the changes, I have a picture from July of 2021 before I started her on The Farmer's Dog. I put the two photos next to each other and was absolutely amazed that the bald spot that she had on her chest just above her collar had almost completely filled in with hair. The only thing I changed in her life was her diet so nothing else could explain this difference. This really shows how important diet is to our dogs. I recommend this service to anyone and everyone who wants to see the health of their dog improve.

Our Golden doodle pup came to us at 8 weeks in poor health. After two rounds of antibiotics and two recommendations of over-the-counter food by the vet nothing worked. I researched extensively and chose Farmer’s Dog turkey recipe and we have never looked back. Johnny went from a skinny unhealthy pup to a now 10-month-old healthy perfectly sized dog. OUR GREATEST TESTIMONY for Farmer’s Dog is our almost 4 year mini golden doodle. Frankie recently experienced her fourth bout of pancreatitis in less than three years and has always had gastrointestinal issues. She has been on Hills Science Diet low fat food for two years (chicken vegetable and rice although the first ingredient listed is pork liver) and for almost the entire time she continued to have blood in her stool and flareups of pancreatitis. Her most recent bout was the worst and we were told it is now chronic. We always wanted to switch her over but were too afraid to transition her to yet another food. This time we thought we were going to lose her and we will do anything to save her. We transitioned her slowly to her brother’s turkey recipe food because it is low-fat and she loved it and more than that her health for the first time in over two years began to change. Her poop has gone from almost black to a normal color, her enzymes were just rechecked and there is no sign of pancreatitis, she eats and LOVES her food, she has energy and is happy! Farmer’s dog food is so essential to our lives and our dogs health and we are so grateful! Not to mention their customer service which is AMAZING! If I call them or send an email it is immediately responded to and it’s clear my dogs are very important to them. Thank you Farmer’s Dog!!

Our entire family is quite serious about living a healthy lifestyle with food and exercise and our two sons even market Natural wine. The one member of the family who fell through the cracks was our dog "Andy" who began to gain wait, had no energy, and looked unhealthy for a young dog. After two months of The Farmer's Dog, he had lost weight, had more energy, more muscle tone, and his coat felt like silk. I also noticed he had absolutely no "dog smell". The product is exactly what we humans would want to feed our dogs, no chemicals or additives. Now "Andy" is more like his human health conscious family. Thank you Farmer's Dog!
