I returned a pillow, the Company Store emailed to say that they got the return but the refund never came. When I called, the guy who answered immediately refunded my money with no explanation or apology for the lack of refund. Also the store's website doesn't work very well. I probably won't buy from them again because they don't seem trustworthy.

I had a good experience with The Company Store in the past. Their quality is now poor for the price. One pays Company Store prices and gets Walmart quality. They charge restocking fees that they do not disclose. Even when Customer Service agrees to remove the restocking fees, they reappear. Apparently, things changed dramatically when Home Depot bought them in 2017. Learn from my mistakes.

I would leave 0 stars if permitted. The merchandise is not the quality you pay for. Material is thin. Designs by Rifle Paper Company are pretty, but poorly executed. Worse, nothing is ever available. Ordered August 12. Item still not available 2 1/2 months later. Need an additional pillow cover. As of 11/19 not available to ship until 12/24. Even worse, items are promised, delivery assured, and then never show up. I will never order from this company again, and I have been a huge fan in the past.

This used to be an AMAZING store with high quality organic, cotton, down products. I used to love shopping here and never had an issue. However, since being purchased by The Home Depot in 2017, they have gone totally and completely downhill. Clearly The Home Depot wants to make greedy higher profits so they replaced all their high quality items with garbage. They advertise luxurious linen sheets as "getting softer and better with time", yet mine became threadbare in just 15 months. I have cotton sheets that are 10 years old that are in better condition than this crap. Called The Company Store today and they absolutely refused to do anything about it. I only asked for the bottom fitted supposedly "linen" sheet to be replaced because it's already threadbare and torn. Could have asked to have the entire sheet set replaced. This place participates in fraudulent bait and switch advertising. Shop elsewhere. Update: 12/1/24 - After filing a BBB complaint and FTC complaint and multiple online reviews, The Company Store finally agreed to replace the threadbare sheet. That said, they should have done the right thing in the first place. I will still not shop there ever again after this experience and I believe the quality has gone significantly downhill.

Terrible and rude customer service

This rating is for the companystore.com website shopping experience ONLY. I ordered a few towels and 2 pillows 7 weeks ago. It still says "Pending Fulfillment" on my order status. I was hosting a wedding at my house and needed the extra towels for guests, and had to make a last minute dash to JCPenney instead. I called and emailed to cancel the order and cancel the charges. No responses. Nothing. Finally had to reach out to PayPal and got a refund. I will never, EVER purchase directly from their website again. I'll go to Home Depot and buy their products through them. A good brand that's gone to the crapper & treats their customers like cattle - much like Cuisinart.

We have been a long-time customer of Company Store but experienced a disappointing outcome from a purchase. Last summer we purchased 6 deluxe and expensive towels from CS. One towel has frayed and coming undone. We asked for a replacement, even though the return policy at purchase was 90 days, now 30 days. Obviously, towels and linens are cycled and not in everyday use, unlike a toaster or laptop. We thought it was fair to request a replacement from a top tier company. CS' best offer was 20 percent off a $64 replacement and free shipping. Disappointing. Please rigorously check your products from CS within the 30 day return period or you will have no recourse if the product disappoints.

Amazes me that an online retailer can't complete online sales. Ordered some things over the 2023 holidays and found out weeks later they were out of stock. They email promotion codes for things left in the cart that can't be applied to the things in the cart. Address change? Call back multiple times and never get things resolved. I bought things from them for decades but not anymore.
