I purchases several pairs of flannel pajamas sets for my daughter - never in my life have I had a garment fall apart in a week on it's first wash. Each pair on laundering tore and ripped at the seams and in the middle of the fabric on washing. As it was something like 8 pairs and they had gone into several different wash lots and nothing else in our machine was effected, it wasn't down to anything with our washing machine. I have never seen anything like it even in much cheaper clothing. So possibly some weakness in the cloth lot. Whatever it was, it sure was weird. The companies response to the issue was poor, so I said I would never shop with them again and I haven't. Prior to that I had yearly bought a lot of children's clothing, bedding, towels and other items that wore nominally well, some fraying and pilling, but nothing like this. Obviously, there was something truly wrong with the garments and I felt company should have acted responsibly under the circumstances. We turned them into dust clothes, it was a complete waste of money.

I ordered some curtains and was told to expect them to be delivered within two weeks. It’s been over two weeks and I haven’t even been sent a shipping confirmation so I called to cancel the order. The customer service rep was very nice and told me that he would “apply” for a cancellation from their drop-ship company. Their manufacturing warehouse is closed. I asked him where it was coming from but he said he wasn’t permitted to tell me. I won’t know for two days whether or not it could be canceled. I won’t be ordering from them again. This is probably why their quality has gone down too.

Started with catalog and things to buy. Entered item codes. Search brought me to page with several hits for item collections even though I entered an item code for a particular thing. I clicked on one of the listed collections and got a long list of items, the one I searched for buried within, so I had to use page search to find it. Searched for another item code. Not found. Apparently item codes use the numeral zero AND the letter oh, so you can easily type the wrong one. Finally, after adding items to cart and checking out, it dumped me at the home page and cleared my cart, but no order confirmation. I had to chat with CS and they said it could be tens of minutes before order even shows up on orders page. Finally had to re-add items to cart and check out again.

Abysmal customer service. I called to see if I could get a shipping label in order to return a clothing item. The rep said they didn't provide shipping labels but that as a "one-time courtesy" they'd arrange a FedEx pickup. I was told I could call a few days later to get the exact date for the pickup. Second call, was told pickup was scheduled for that day. However, Fed Ex never came. Third phone call to Company Store: rep had no clue of what was going on -- was confusing "pickup" with "delivery." Her English was clearly a second language, and she peppered the conversation with annoying "Sorry for any inconvenience" comments. After a week of trying to arrange what should have been a simple return, I'll just take the item to UPS or USPS and pay for shipping myself.

They used to have products I really liked, and I used to enjoy browsing their outlet store for good deals. But their product quality has definitely declined. My last purchase, a mattress pad, literally fell apart the first time I washed it. The top of it didn't even feel like fabric, it was almost more like a paper towel texture, so guess I shouldn't be surprised it fell apart so easily. I called customer service and they don't really have a streamlined way to return things. They wanted me to ship the product back on my own at my own expense (and mailing a big mattress pad isn't cheap) with no reference number, just to an address they give you. There are multiple online reviews about people mailing things and having trouble getting their money back, which isn't surprising if they don't even have a reference number or any kind of slip they want you to include when you are mailing things. I was worried I'd be out even more money due to the negative reviews over that, so just ate the cost. But that turned me off of buying from them again. For their prices, there should be a higher level of quality and better returns process. And customers shouldn't have to pay to return defective products. For bedding products that aren't exactly cheap but the quality matches the price, I've had better recent luck with Garnet Hill and Sol Organics (sheets). Honestly not sure how either is at returns as I have yet to return anything.

The down comforter I bought was ~$300, so not their cheapest option, and more expensive than many others I saw, but heard good things from blogs, reviews so thought I'd try it out. The quilt had feathers missing from many of the boxes, and overall the amount of fluff was underwhelming (especially for the price). Even at $100 I would have been disappointed, but then I would say "hey, it's because it's cheap". To return it, I will either be reimbursed $15 if I send them a receipt, or they offer FedEx pickup but I am never home. I had ordered the wool mattress pad from them also and love that, but the quilt ruined the experience for me. But the wool pad wasn't made by them, so that might explain why the quality was better.

I bought so many stuffs from them, and would like honestly to share some products details. But it seems this company only accept the review above 4 stars, otherwise you'll never gonna see your reviews under the products you purchased. Instead you will receive an email of blah blah blah...I think I will never come back for this strangely managed company, this is the first online store that you CANNOT check your order history under your own account. It really feels like they are trying to hide something...
