Great pumpkin rolls are great but…
Great pumpkin rolls are great but within a 6 Months from 2025 and 2026 size changed . The rolls are significantly smaller ! Have you noticed ???

Thank you for your feedback. We haven’t changed anything in our Pumpkin Rolls — neither the recipe nor the portioning. Because we work with natural ingredients, especially flour and sourdough, the dough can rise slightly more or less from batch to batch. This can affect the visual size, but the weight remains the same. If you measure the rolls, you won’t see any differences.

Flagrant Dishonesty made Right

Unfortunately, that specific bread was out of stock at the time, and it was our responsibility to clearly communicate this and offer a proper solution upfront. I tried to place and order and it was…
I tried to place and order and it was canceled because it wasn't a minimum of $55.00. Sounds like a ripoff. I am reporting this event to the FEDS.

Hi George, thanks for reaching out. I want to clarify this in a transparent way. We are absolutely not doing anything illegal. Because of shipping costs, tariffs (products are made in Germany), labor, dry ice, and packaging, we require a minimum order value in order to operate sustainably and deliver frozen bread safely. Without a minimum, we simply couldn’t survive as a business. This is very common in online grocery or frozen food shopping. Many retailers set minimum order values or prepacked boxes for the exact same reasons. You’re of course free to decide whether our shop is the right fit for you. But there is nothing improper or misleading about a minimum order value. If you have any questions, I’m always happy to explain how things work on our end. High quality, delicious bread
I don't know why there are a couple of such negative reviews, but our experience with Brotbox has been nothing but terrific. The bread always arrives in top quality condition. Sometimes the dry ice is in fact fully evaporated, but never has the bread been un-fresh and certainly never moldy. We love the Bürli Brot, Brötchen, Potato Carrot Rolls, “Andalúz” Bread (made again just today), and we can't wait to try the new walnut fig bread. I highly recommend trying Brotbox.

Shopping is quick and easy
Shopping is quick and easy, they always have a good selection and sometimes a special bread! The bread is shipped promptly and always arrives in perfect condition. A heavy duty box with insulation and dry ice ensures the bread is in excellent shape. Above all else, the bread is awesome! Everyone raves about it. I have placed many orders and will continue to do so. Enjoy!

A taste of Heimat
I love that the products indeed taste like “Heimat”… We especially love the Brezeln and the Roggenbrot. We are ordering and enjoying great bread and rolls etc from The Brot Box regularly, and have also introduced several non-German friends to it…

Delicious and healthy bread
I’m so grateful to a friend for introducing us to this fantastic company. Everything I’ve ordered—the bread and rolls—has been delicious. Each item arrives perfectly packed and in excellent condition. This bread reminds me of what I enjoyed while growing up in Germany. I’m thrilled to finally have access to good, healthy bread again.
