The 1 One Percent program quite literally changed my life.
A while ago I was in a rough spot. I lacked confidence, wasn't happy with myself, and honestly had a pretty negative view of who I was. Joining this program didn't just help me lose weight or get healthier—it helped me rebuild my confidence and change my mindset.
One of the biggest things it gave me was the confidence to put myself out there. Without the growth I experienced through this program, I honestly don't know if I would have had the courage to approach the woman who is now my future wife.
What I appreciate most about Nick my coach and the program is that he's and everyone there are real about everything. He cares about his clients, but he's not going to baby you or tell you what you want to hear, no one in the program will. You are going to be challenged, push, and expected to do the work. That's exactly why the program works.
As for some of the negative reviews I've read, particularly from people blaming everyone else for their failures, my experience has been the exact opposite. After completing the program myself, many of those complaints sound less like problems with the program and more like people refusing to be accountable. Not everyone is built for being challenged, and that's okay. But throwing a tantrum online because someone held you accountable says more about your character than it does about this program.
This program isn't magic. It requires work. It requires consistency. It requires effort. But if you're willing to do those things, Coach Nick and the 1 One Percent team can help you become a better version of yourself.

6 months extended to another year!
After being in the program a whole 6 months and having a life changing experience I decided I would extend my program another year and it has easily been the best decision I have made in a very long time! My coach Nick Priola is the best in the business and he really treats you like family not just another client. If you are looking to change or you need the push to make the change this is the way to go. I will continue to reccommend the 1% for the rest of my life. They changed my life completely .

Beware!
Beware! After a terrible experience with the One Percent program, I left a bad, but honest, review. In response, Nick Priola, one of the principals of the company, went onto the website of my personal business, and wrote a defamatory review EVEN THOUGH HE WAS NEVER A CLIENT! Beware, these are bad people, who are malicious and vindictive. Do not give them your money.
Response from The One PercentJun 2, 2026
Hey David. Coach Nick here, responding directly.
We hold our guys to a very high standard inside The One Percent. That is what the brand is built on. Just because you invest in our program does not mean you will succeed. It takes hard work.
Transparency is non-negotiable to us, so when someone decided to we open the actual data and let it speak. I refuse to hide behind corporate language and give a typical PR response, because this program changed my life as well as many others.
Here is the deal.
ON THE DEFAMATION CLAIM
The statement you made regarding the google review is incorrect. If you open the Google review I left on your business. The first sentence reads "Was a client of a fitness coaching program that I am apart of." I never claimed to be a client of your law firm. I made it clear from the opening line that I was reviewing you as someone you hired to coach. That is documented public feedback from a service provider about a customer. Since you are a lawyer, I am sure you know that is not defamation. You left a public review about us. I left a public review about you. Public reviews work both ways.
ON THE PROGRAM ITSELF
Our coaching is built around metabolic priming. We progressively add food in for months to rebuild capacity BEFORE we ever pull it back for a cut. The cut is where most of the body composition change actually happens. We explain this clearly on the call before anyone signs up. Compliance is the cost of admission.
Here is what your Trainerize data shows
Start date: September 23, 2025
Cut phase began: January 2, 2026(you quit the 2nd week of January)
Days nutrition logged across the engagement: 72 of 217 (33%)
Habit completion: 532 of 2064 (26%)
Here is some more data on your time in the program,. On the days you DID log, here is how accurate the tracking was against the macro targets we set for you. We have all of these records as a visual reference as well. We cannot fabricate these.
Days where protein landed within +/-10g of target: 15%
Days where carbs landed within +/-10g of target: 18%
Days where BOTH protein and carbs hit target range: 9%
Average miss from your daily calorie target: 165 calories
Our standard for any nutrition adjustment is +/-1 to 10g on macros. You hit that standard on 9% of the days you logged. Even when you were tracking, you were not executing.
Weeks into the cut you logged consistently: 1
Following weeks: logging dropped to 1 day, then to zero, and stayed at zero every week through May. You quit before the cut had a chance to do what the cut is designed to do.
ON THE GOOGLE REVIEW AND THE DEROGATORY LANGUAGE
I stand by every word I wrote. How someone shows up in one area is usually how they show up in others. A client who pays for work, fails to do their part, blames the provider when results do not come, then reaches for derogatory language and threatens with lawyers when the receipts get pulled out, is not someone I would hire to handle anything important in my life. Disappointed in the framing, not surprised by it. That is consistent with the pattern.
TO ANYONE ELSE READING THIS
People like this come and go in coaching. Always have, always will. The reason we hold the line every single time is because for every one client who quits and blames the program, there are hundreds of guys inside our community who are showing up, doing the work, and changing their lives(we have A LOT of proof to show for it). Guys who do not quit. Guys who carry what we call the One Percent mentality. If you want to see what the work actually produces, those are the stories worth looking at. Not this one.
For anyone who wants to see the Google review I left on David's business in full, here are the receipts:
https://bit.ly/wechtreceipts
David, the door is open if you ever want to come back, actually do the work required, and finish what you started. Same terms as the day you signed up.

Complete scam
Complete scam. Scheduled call 3 times, and no one jumped on Zoom call any of the 3 times, despite multiple texts from “Olivia” saying she would personally see to it that Zoom call was attended to. Complete waste of time. Would not recommend at all
Response from The One PercentMay 14, 2026
Victor,
Thank you for your feedback. We have reviewed the timeline of your experience and would like to clarify what occurred.
Your original appointment was scheduled for 4:00 PM EST. Our advisor was present on the Zoom call at the scheduled time and made multiple attempts to reach you via phone and text when you did not join.
However, we acknowledge that we completely mishandled the second appointment booked shortly afterward. A scheduling system error incorrectly showed availability while our advisor was on another call, and our assistant lacked the visibility to resolve the conflict promptly.
We take full responsibility for this oversight and understand why the resulting miscommunication was frustrating.
We respect your time and regret that this experience did not meet our standard of service. We appreciate the feedback and wish you the best moving forward.

Negligent, disrespectful, and discriminatory practices
On Tues, May 5th, I signed up for a strategy call scheduled for Sat, May 9th. During the time leading up to the call, I corresponded via text with Alexandra Brown from "The One Percent metabolic strategy team." She asked me some pretty basic questions to prepare for our meeting and I was really looking forward to coming on as a client. On May 6th, the first day she reached out to me, I let her know that I was transgender and how my 7 years of HRT have changed the way my body hold fat/builds muscle, as these are key parts of the program. Her response was "Really appreciate you sharing that, Leo. That’s super helpful context and exactly the kind of thing that makes a big difference when putting together a strategy"
She continued to share more information, a video she suggested I watch and asked me if I had any questions. I also continued to receive around 20 seemingly automated emails from Adam Bunnell with different details of the program, as well as "The One Percent" simply confirming my call. The morning of May 8th, I received a text from Alexandra confirming my appointment, "Hey Leo, just wanted to confirm we’re still on for 1:00 PM your time tomorrow. Got some notes written out for you strategy wise, so let me know if anything changes". Today, May 9th, 15 mins before the appointment I got another text confirmation with the zoom link for the call.
Then, at 12:57pm I received a text message saying, "Hey Leo we can only work with biological males. Sorry for any confusion." I replied and asked if this meant the appointment was cancelled to which they replied, "yes sorry for any confusion." I asked for clarity as to why 3 minutes before our appointment this was suddenly now an issue, citing back to Alexandra's response when I disclosed that I was transgender and calling it, "super helpful context and exactly the kind of thing that makes a big difference when putting together a strategy." Not to mention that there was supposedly an outline of the strategy they developed for my program.
I have since received no response, the communication has gone completely dark. There is no other way to describe these actions but as ridiculous, negligent, and borderline discriminatory. They will probably respond with something along the lines of how this impacts the science behind their program, etc. However, if this is in fact the case, why did it never come up in the time leading up to the call? Why wait until the moment it was scheduled to happen, after which all communication was met with radio silence? This is completely disrespectful of my time and to me as a person. What a shameful way to do business and to treat potential clients.
Response from The One PercentMay 14, 2026
Leo,
First, I want to sincerely apologize for the experience you had with our company last week. Regardless of whether we were ultimately the right fit for your needs, the way the communication was handled was not reflective of the standard we aim to uphold, and we completely understand why you felt disrespected and frustrated by the situation.
To provide clarity, much of the communication leading up to your scheduled strategy call was being handled by Alexandra’s assistant and pre-call support systems. Alexandra herself did not personally manage the situation appropriately once the internal concern regarding our coaching criteria was raised. She was specifically instructed to call you directly, explain our program parameters, and handle the conversation respectfully and professionally. That did not happen, and instead you received a short text message with little explanation only minutes before your appointment. We agree that this was not a good look and not how we do business.
We also understand why the timing felt especially frustrating and confusing considering you had openly shared that you were transgender early in the conversation and were met with encouraging responses afterward. From your perspective, it understandably appeared that the information had already been acknowledged and incorporated into the planning process. We recognize how receiving a cancellation at the last minute after continued engagement and confirmations would feel dismissive and hurtful.
There was never any intention to disrespect you personally or make you feel devalued as an individual. The issue was handled poorly operationally and communication internally broke down in a way that should not have happened. That responsibility falls on us.
While our coaching model and methodology are currently structured specifically around biological male physiology and the biomarker ranges, hormonal frameworks, and metabolic considerations we specialize in working with, we should have communicated that clearly, respectfully, and much earlier in the process. A brief text without proper explanation did not reflect the level of professionalism or empathy that you deserved.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention because situations like this highlight where we need to improve both operationally and personally as a team. We are already addressing the breakdown internally to ensure this type of experience does not happen again.
With that said, we would respectfully ask that you reconsider and remove the review. We fully understand your frustration and accept responsibility for the poor communication, but we do hope this explanation provides better context around what happened and reassures you that there was never malicious intent or personal discrimination behind the situation.
Again, we sincerely apologize for the frustration, confusion, and disappointment this caused.
Wishing you nothing but the best moving forward.

This program has given me so much
This program has given me so much. I was struggling with my relationship with food. I had lack of energy. I was grinding in the gym but didn’t see much in the way of results. A family member recommended I try this program and it changed my life. The coach assigned to me (Nick) is very knowledgeable, encouraging and supportive.
