At first, I was skeptical of paying such a high price. At the end after 6 months, it was all worth it. Thank you so much to TestMAX for helping my score skyrocket 30 pts. I didn't opt in to receive private tutoring, but I've heard many good things from the people who did. Shoutout Ian for always keeping in touch!!

I would highly recommend BarMax to attorneys who are taking the attorney's exam. I had failed the bar multiple times with BarBri and needed a different platform to accommodate my busy schedule. I had to juggle the bar studies with the management of two law offices in different jurisdictions, two kids, including a three year old and a busy case load. I highly recommend BarMax, especially for individuals that are working full time. The program is incredibly flexible and the app makes the program portable so you can take it with you anywhere. I listened to the lectures and webinars on my commute and I did flashcards on my phone whenever I found myself with a few minutes of spare time. I think the greatest advantage is also having real MBE questions (and a LOT of them). The MBE is no joke and I think it was beneficial to practice on real questions, and especially take practice tests with real questions. The webinars are very helpful as well, I wish I would have discovered how useful those were earlier in my studying! Thank you BarMax for recording those and posting them in the app so I could listen on my commute (working full time didn't allow me the flexibility to attend them live). And, as someone who works in the public service sector, the public interest scholarship was incredible. I was able to pass the UBE the first time, and I highly recommend BarMax to anyone looking for a thorough and flexible program!

BarMax helped me pass the CA BAR! I struggled with the MBEs and was able to master multiple choice thanks to the 1500+ real, past bar multiple choice problems BarMax provided. Although I focused my studies on MBE practice, BarMax kept me on track with my essay and PT practice. Matt was extremely helpful in getting me set up with the program, creating my schedule, and also was available via phone call and text throughout and after bar prep. Also, the program I went with included an MPRE prep course! Highly recommend this entire program!

Very good economical option for bar prep. I like that "model" answers for essay questions were based on top student submissions, rather than comprehensive professionally written answers you see in other prep courses. I also liked that they only used official questions in the multiple choice section. Only qualms were that the website is not the most intuitive/user-friendly (pro tip: look at filters!) and there was no ability to be tested on certain sub-topics within each MBE subject (unlike on Adaptibar).

I'm a married father and have been a practicing attorney for 6 years. I signed up on a whim, but was satisfied with the program. I read the outlines, went through the note cards a couple of times and worked about 75% of the questions. I reviewed a few MPTs and essays also. I passed for my target jurisdiction, which was my only goal. The program had a lot more to offer that I didn't use. I also used their MPRE prep. Good job testmax/barmax.

I took a course for the California bar exam. The material (outline) was relatively concise and well-organized. It juxtaposed CA laws and federal laws with different colors, which not only made study time-efficient but also was significantly helpful given the CA bar exam often requires a comparison between those two. Regarding support by tutors, they replied to questions in a timely manner each time with detailed explanations. The course provided everything I needed to pass the exam.

I went to BarMax after diligently searching for a bar exam prep that would accommodate me as a repeater and a full-time employee. Bar Max did not disappoint. I took advantage of the set schedule, the MEE feedback, the actual past MBE questions (this was a bonus), and the tutoring as a quick review before exam day. When exam day came in February, I knew I was prepared to do my best, and my best was to pass the bar. When May came, I found I passed the DC Bar. I am genuinely grateful to BarMax, my rep Carl, the staff, and the tutors for giving me the tools I needed to succeed. BarMax is truly the #1 bar prep.
