Booked an appointment and had to Prepay. Was given a 5 hour window between 8am and 1pm. It is now 1.30 and no show. Have called the number to be told they can’t reach anyone to find out where they are and they will come back to me when they can. When I questioned whether that would be minutes or hours I was told no time frame could be given as it’s a different department. Very unhelpful and dismissive. Will now look to get a refund and get a decent company out. Only reason we used them is the council said they were their contractors - should have known better.

Had Terminex out on 8/26 for yearly termite inspection. Tech told us we need a dehumidifier for moisture in the crawl space under the house. Also said we needed an exclusion service for rodants. Said the exclusion was wrapping the bottom of the house to help keep them out. I said no with the dehumidifier because we don’t go under the house & check anything. We have a sump pump which pumps the water out we don’t need the dehumidifier. Tech kept saying we have moisture from the air conditioner at the front of the house. That unit is behind the house. All the pipes are wrapped. He kept saying they would put the dehumidifier on wood platform. I did sign, took $500 deposit & they will bill me for rest monthly. I asked for a copy of the papers, said they will be emailed to me. I said I don’t have a printer & I was off work until the following Monday to print. I was not gone on 8/27, my husband got a call from our regular service tech & said he will be out on 9/4 thinking it was our regular service. Tech did show up on 9/4 & all he did was put the bait traps around. Told my husband he did the exclusion service. When I saw that when I got home I texted the Tech that was out on 8/26. I told him what was done & he said that was the exclusion service. I said why would I pay $900+ for bait traps when our quarterly service is only $79. I said I would pay for regular service & wanted my money back for the exclusion service. I also told him I’m still not sure about the dehumidifier. The more i thought about it, I called our plumber about the dehumidifier Terminex wants to put under the house. Our plumber said absolutely no. The crawl space is stone & not cement. On 9/13 I called Zach back & told him I didn’t want the dehumidifier. He got his supervisor on the phone with us & said they will be out on Sept 17 to talk to both of us. I said I worked until 5. Than he said the 23rd. I said that should be ok since it’s the day after my surgery. Said they would be out in a he morning. No show on 9/23, checked my acct with Terminex said they were scheduled for the 17. No show on the 17th. In my he mail on 9/23 we got a letter from Terminex for the financing through Service Master(SMAC) I called the number on the letter to see what was going on. Terminex has withdrew the $1500 for the dehumidifier & I still owed them 443.40. Plus what was put on the credit card of $500. In the mean time I got an email on 9/19 the exclusion service was canceled. I have been calling Terminex since 9/14 about getting my money back. No one is calling me back. All the customer service people have been very nice except yesterday I had a very rude gentleman, would not give me his name. He said I have been calling in & will not do anything for me. Said the supervisor are working out in the field & only in the office once a week to do calls. Yesterday a tech showed up to do our regular quarterly service. I had changed the service to Nov. I would not let him do anything & told him I better not be charged. That’s when I called in to the 800# & had the rude customer service rep. Friday 10/22 I called my credit card co & put a dispute for non service. I had my $500 back over the weekend. I know it’s provisional credit. Still working with SMAC. Payment was due yesterday & they have no grace period. This is going to hurt my credit score. We have been customers of Terminex for over 30 yrs. Going to cancel once this is taken care of. I’m out $443.40. I filed with BBB in TN (home office), yesterday with Attorney Generals office.

The back office team at terminx are useless. Communication on progress is not existent. The team fail to keep you informed of progress and It can take weeks/months to make any progress.

I received a text offering to add pest control to my termite control package and called them the same day. We had minor issues with roaches and mice. The appointment with the technician was set up within an hour and he showed up on time, as scheduled, on a Saturday afternoon. I told him the problem and showed him around the house and he treated the entire house inside and outside for pests, i.e., roaches, bugs, mice, etc. and was very courteous, professional and thankful. Within a week our roach and mice problem is gone. I would recommend Terminix-Lafayette, Louisiana to anyone in my family or any one of my friends.

OH my goodness this is the worst Company and the customer service ie terrible. I called for an inspection. The inspector came out an (7bedroom/ 2bath house )he went in 3 rooms. Scheduled for the treatment later that day. The technician show up never treated the whole house didn’t even treat the rooms the inspector went in. I call to complain and was connected with the area manager, and he was extremely rude to me and my tenant(who was also on the phone). He stated to me no customer is going to tell them how to do their job. I explain to him what happened he said well after the technician got there he might have felt all the rooms didn’t need to be treated. That they don’t treat the whole house!!! So I paid for 1bedroom, A bathroom and a kitchen. He said he would cancel my service and refund my money. Hung up and I called Orkin they came out the next day. They did a through inspection, offer better service way more professional. And there is not ONE DEAD ROACH from the terminix technician spraying the day before. They NEED TO BE TERMINATED!!!!! I have paid a lot of money to Terminix. $188.00 every 3 months for pest control and $59.00 every month for mosquito control. The mosquitos are eating us alive, even the same day the yard was sprayed. And I have to keep scorpion tape (it's sticky tape that traps bugs) on all my thresholds just to keep the bugs from getting in the house. Their spray is just not effective. The only reason I even gave 2 stars is because Randy is the nicest person and always arrives when he says he will. Now for the infuriating part... when I first signed with Terminix, they convinced me I needed a termite inspection. The pest control guy and the guy to spray mosquitoes both showed up that day and the termite guy was supposed to be there too. He didn't show up. I rescheduled and waited on the second guy and he didn't show up and didn't call. I rescheduled again and same thing, no show and no call. Then it happened a 4th time. And every time was a huge inconvenience. I rushed home from work and waited around forever each time. I was so mad I called their customer service and was on hold 20 minutes, then on there forever with them for 45 minutes. I was like how can they stand me up 4 times in a row??? She promised me it wouldn't happen again. Guess what. It happened the 5th time. I called them and told them I was going to cancel if they didn't get someone out here. They did that time and the guy kept apologizing for the other morons. But I still am going to cancel. There is no reduction in insects. They are all so healthy and happy until they get stuck in the sticky tape as they are trying to crawl into my house. UGH

DONT USE TERMINIX VENTURA. They generate fraud Terminix reports, they tell you that there are termites that are not there. We made appts and they are cancelled and are not told to us. We sit there for 3 hours and no shows up. Especially DO NOT have Lance Kennedy come to your house, he is a con man. He promises clearances on termites with no inspection done, but he writes a fraudulent report to cover himself. We escalated it to the supervisor twice, he never called back. We escalated to the regional manger twice he did nothing. They charged us $1850 to remediate 4 square feet. The person that did the work told us it should have been $700. When we call to get a full house (real) inspection, they are not interested , they are not interested in calling back to even discuss.

Worst company out there. No centralized oversight or quality control. We recently transferred service to a new home but service in the new area is awful - can't get anyone to come out. Have been trying to cancel for months. Corporate office said cancellation needed to be handled by the manager of the "local" office. But conveniently the local office was without a manager for months. Now they have hired someone but twice he told us he needs to talk to his supervisor (about our cancellation!!) and call us back but does not follow through. But they keep taking our money (via autopay) but there is no actual service contract in place. Have tried everything. Stay away from this company.
