Of I could give 0 stars or even a negative I would! Horrible scheduling, show up unannounced multiple times even after calling the office multiple times. Always schedule appointments without the homeowners knowledge. Horrible customer service. In my opinion find a mom and pop service company to help with your pest needs. This company is not worth your time and frustration

Well here we go. Had a slummy looking sales guy come out from Terminix and told me we had termites. He showed me a couple spots that were supposed termite "hot spots". He sold me a package of service care and told me that if I wasn't happy with the service provided that I could get a refund with no cancelation fee (all lies). He handed me a tablet with a signature line and did not go over any details with me other than treatment for termites and amount. Then I had a friend come into town that owns a pest control company. My friend said that the spots the Slum Lord Terminix guy showed me had 0 termite signs. My friend also looked at my property and said there is 0 proof of termites. I called to cancel my service agreement because the service was not needed. The manager Kevin, then told me sorry but there is nothing anyone can do and I am just screwed and have to ride the service agreement out. So here we are. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE AND THEN TELL YOU TO DEAL WITH IT. These people are on a whole different level of scam artists. The funny part is, I don't want my money back! I just want to be done paying a monthly premium for a service that has no value to me. Kevin I hope that the $500 I will pay you over the next 9 months for 0 product is worth a bad review on every social media. Save your time and money and call a different pest control company, these people are scam artists.

Completely unreliable! Booked through HomeServe. Failed to attend, despite giving reassurance. Managed to get someone to attend the following day, and an arrangement was made for follow up in a week. Once again didn’t turn up! HomeServe contacted company, again informed they’d definitely attend, but due to workload, would be late. Still no show! Absolutely diabolical service. HomeServe seriously need to review their contract with this unreliable company!

The most disingenuous company. They will take your money and then hide behind "that's a different entity" or "its a franchise" or "that is a different department." GO WITH A LOCAL company with a decent rep - NOT Terminix

If you don’t want to be swindled, don’t give Terminix your money. They hang onto your money whether they provide the service or not. We paid them our annual premium in March 2021, however we sold our house in June 2021. In June 2021 they promised a prorated refund for our unused service, but have never sent the prorated refund. I called after thirty days and spoke with the branch manager, and he said the refund would be sent out at the end of that week. This is the passive-aggressive tactics this company uses – promises something they don’t intend to deliver. I’ve called many times after that and spoken with various customer service representatives, who always make promises, but no one ever calls me back or issues the promised refund. They only return phone calls when they think you are a new customer, naive enough to give them money. There are other pest services out there – my review: find a trustworthy one you can trust with your money, not a deceptive one like Terminix.

I wanted to maintain coverage, but since our house was for sale, I asked about refund policy. I renewed our termite plan with the assurance that I would get a pro-rated refund for portion not used. When I called to ask about the refund, they told me that there would be no refund. In other words, the representative lied to me. Even when we had coverage, the inspectors would show up early and just expect someone to be there even though there was an actual appointment time. I regret not choosing another company.

I have two contracts with Terminix for "Exclusion" of rodents (3 years) and also bugs (3 months). Overall I would give them 5 stars for service and 1 star for appointment setting and communication. In general their technicians have been great in the Upstate NY area. I often get the same tech who comes over time and knows my exact situation. They have gone out of their way on multiple occasions to do little extras that they don't have to. They work towards fixing the problem and come back as often as needed until it's solved. On the other hand, appointment setting and communication is TERRIBLE and must be fixed. I always give detailed notes to the 800# that never seems to make it to the local office, appointments are often not set up without calling back multiple times, on 3 occasions a tech has "shown up" at my home with little or no warning when I was not home. In these cases they treat the exterior, but have to be called back for access to the cellar. I no longer have direct access to my local office for scheduling and the 800# system is NOT working. PLEASE fix this issue Terminix. Your techs are great, your back office is not.

I’m sooo frustrated! this is the worst company ever! we had the terminix workers putting the tend in my house, and the day after when they were removing the tend the ladder fell on my new Maserati, leaving a big dent, they didn’t tell me anything about it. but I saw the accident in cameras, and I have the video . The worst part is now they are ignoring me, and they don’t want to pay the damages, I have process it with my lawyers, so annoying!
