TerminixReviews of terminix.com

The Teminix out of st Pete Florida is awful. I had a person come out and asses my issue and it was verbally stated that i had subterranean and dry wood termites. Prior to signing the contract i specifically asked will i have to beg for you to treats the sites if Temites are observed still active. The guy Joe said no if you see one termite it will be treated. In addition also had signs of rats in my attic which I was told traps would be put down for them, baits for the termites and spray for the dry wood termites. The spray and baits were put down, no traps. Two weeks pass termites were flying into my head inside my house which was a new observation, my window sill in the two weeks I waited for my appointment was filled with wings and the garage still had signs of activity. The guy comes makes one excuse after another as to why he can’t treat the areas I’m frustrated and he calls his boss and his boss said he will come and assess the areas. Never came no phone call no nothing. 4 calls to customer service nothing is followed up with nothing is addresses. I’m still being charged and they only did one initial treatment and nothing more. I’m unhappy with the lack of attention to customer service and follow up do not use them they waste you time and money. I want a refund but can’t get anyone to respond to any message or email. I’m going to the better business burrow next to formally complain about the scam they are running this all started June 2026

paid $300 for one treatment in Saugus Massachusetts, received no contract and not told auto payments being charged monthly, i canceled service before 2nd service due to no improvement noted on property, my debit card was still charged $75 for an additional month, i called 2x to resolve issue and was told no refund would be given, very unhappy with this company, at all times I called the tollfree numbers not local branches

Don't trust them. The technician only spen 20 minutes spraying the inside and outside of a 2 story home. 2 weeks later we are seeing ants everywhere. They were supposed to spray for mosquitoes fleas ticks and ants outside and spiders ants and water bugs inside. We are getting ate up by mosquitoes on our deck. We canceled and the next day they took $80.00 out of my account. So now I have to contest the charges and get a different debit card. DONT USE TERMINIX

Just an unbelievably horrible experience with these people. I live in the NW Chicago burbs of IL. They broke TWO, yes TWO appointments with us.. no call, no email nothing. Just flat-out blown off. Their "call center" kept telling us when the technician would arrive but they just didn't. On hold for 25 minutes at a time. Two days of waiting (time) wasted for absolutely nothing. Brazen incompetence. Never, ever again.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Terminix. I was misled about the type of service I would be receiving, and what was presented to me verbally did not match what was provided. After realizing the service was not what I agreed to, I attempted to cancel — only to be told that the service had already been financed ($1700.00), and that I was responsible for payment, even though the charge had already been applied without my full understanding or consent. Terminix refused to cancel the account, refused to acknowledge the miscommunication, and left me paying for a service I neither wanted nor agreed to in good faith. This is not how a reputable company should treat customers. I would strongly caution anyone considering Terminix to get every detail in writing and be prepared for pushback if you try to correct their mistakes.

I called to cancel service, as our last bill was $178 and was offered the same service for $78 with no future increases. The representative commented that we should have called sooner as we could have saved more money. She told us the "plan" we were on had annual increases. When we started with Terminix, 23 years ago, we were never told there were different 'plans'. I did call 5 years ago to see if there was a senior discount. I was informed that there was only one standard rate. I asked to speak to their complaint department and was told they did not have a complaint department. The dishonesty and price gouging is appalling.

DO NOT USE TERMINIX! I can't make this stuff up. If I could give them a -10 I absolutely would. Do not waste your time! I'm definitely taking my business to ORKIN! Terminix canceled so many appointments after I've made accommodations and made myself available for the ridiculous 8am - 4pm window that they constantly give. Most times the just don't show! They don't notify me they're not coming or anything. They just simply don't show! First off I received an estimate for a home exclusion. Cool! The SCHEDULED day the job was supposed to start, the worker text me and says "I don't have all the materials and I don't want to start the job and then I'm unable to complete it. We'll reach out to reschedule once I have all the materials." That was frustrating but ok. What can I do. That was in APRIL it is now end of JULY. No work was ever done on my home, no holes or gaps were ever sealed. Come to find out there's been a past due balance on my account for $1,600 for this home exclusion that I never received. I spoke to someone at Terminix last month to get this resolved which he confirmed to me that it's been corrected and taken care of. Here we are in July and I noticed there's a $1,600 past due balance on my account. Terminix has an invoice that this home exclusion was completed in May and that they did work on my home multiple times in May. I can't make this stuff up!!! No one ever came to my home, no work has been started, no one has even reached out to me about rescheduling this in May. Hell they don't even come out to spray my yard after confirming a scheduled day. Because of this my account is on hold! I can't schedule any spray services for my yard or trees. I can't remember the last time they actually came out and sprayed my yard because they're constantly doing a no call no show. I didn't receive any services in June! I will say i did cancel the last attempt to spray my yard because my gate was locked. The new guy wasn't aware to call me before coming to my home so I can make sure he can access my back yard. He said there was nothing in the notes that stated that :/ And all while this is going on they still have the nerve to continue to charge me a monthly fee of $96. Pretty much every Terminix rep I spoke to consist on telling me aggressively what was physically completed in detail with the home exclusion because they're reading the invoice. I've literally been begging them to send someone out to my house so they can see for themselves that they never even attempted the job. They all just keep transferring me to a different department. They've been telling me someone will reach out to me and they never do! 2 days ago someone said I would receive a phone call from a manager in 24 hrs. Here we are 48hrs later and I still haven't spoke to manager. I asked Terminix "what can you do to make this right because at this point I'm ready to write a review and take my business to Orkin." The Terminix rep told me "well I can cancel your services since you're going to write a review." LOL WOWWWWWWWW... I am beyond disgusted with company. This FALSE past due balance has been on my account for months and is effecting my credit score and Terminix could care less about it. I def told the rude rep to cancel my account. Hopefully they can at least do that while removing THE FALSE $1,600 past due balance on my account. I will post this on every Terminix review platform until this is resolved. If Terminix handles this in a respectful manner to keep me a happy customer I'll gladly take this review down from every platform. Until then AVOID TERMINIX!!!!

I live in a 12 x 12 room, I’m disabled on a low fixed income and they wanted almost 1/3 of what I get a month before they’ll do anything. Personally, I think they just didn’t wanna do a small room so they blew smoke up my… It would take me six months or more to come up with the first payment for them to even come out
