SWISSGEARReviews of swissgear.com

We bought 2 SwissGear medium size suitcases. After 2 uses one of the wheels disintegrated. Contacted customer support several times, gave them pictures, etc. They wouldn't cover the wheel replacement. Ended up buying a set off Amazon. Will never buy any SwissGear products again

I have tried on three occasions to contact the company to purchase a replacement suitcase wheel that was lost in transit on a recent trip. To date I have not even had an acknowledgement. I will not recommend purchasing anything from this company because if it goes wrong you have little chance of getting it fixed.

The luggage is a 3 piece set hard sided and was rather expensive. I have only used 2 pieces for 2 trips and one of the retracable handles came apart while maneuvering through the airport on my return home. Still had screw and tried to reinstall once home but alluminum is not biting because hole is too big. Problem is, I reached out to the manufacturer and they said they won't honor their 10-year warranty unless I provide them with the original receipt. (Purchased beginning of 2022) Otherwise, they will provide me with 15% off of a new purchase. Who would purchase more from same company that does not honor their warranty, for items the break real easy! Do not buy from this manufacturer!

I owned a softside expandable case. After two 'plane journeys the retractable handle wouldn't work. I unzipped the liner to find that the two aluminum tubes inside were both snapped in two. Obviously someone has stood on the case in transit. If I had known that the design was so flimsy and poorly engineered I would have given this case a wide berth. Never again! I didn't see the point in having this repaired as the damage would have re-occured so I binned the case and bought another case from a different manufacturer. Buyers beware!

Me too.. i wish i had read the reviews, never again!..it was a nightmare returning the product, the charge you for fedex shipping and label return, so you will end it up loosing like 25 dollars, at least mr calvin, was able to refund me the label return, great products, but the website it just terrible, there is other ways to get swissgear backpack and more affortable, don't waste your money on this. If you make this mistake like i did resale it its better, so you dont loose money.

Avoid SwissGear.com in general. Charged me 23% of the price of the order to return the item...OUCH! Never again. Suitcase was too small...Original order was $95.95 and amount they communicated they would return to me was $73.61 (or $22.34)...not only that they shipped it to me for $5 and as part of the return they charged me $17.01 to get it back to the same place...look elsewhere for suitcases.

I wish I had read these reviews first . I paid $288 and will only get $192 back if I return it which literally received from delivery not even 24 hours ago . Why say “if you’re not completely satisfied .. “ which I wasn’t - but “be aware of the consequences” should follow on the return policy . This was my second luggage with them - I happen to like it the first time . Not buying anymore after leaving me not much choices on returns. They Don’t even do exchange! There are of lot better deals in Amazon .

I purchased some simple Swiss Gear luggage tags. They were not what I expected and wanted to return them. I contacted customer service and have gotten nothing but the run around. I am well within the return terms and conditions but Swiss Gear will not provide me with a return authorization #. These are simple, inexpensive tags ($20 total for 3 - 2 packs). It's unfortunate that Swiss Gear will not stand behind their products. I will not purchase any more Swiss Gear Products, of which I have purchase many in the past. No longer!!!!
