Owned 4 years. Used 12 times. Thought this was my go-to bag. Thought it would last. Was good. Until it wasn't. Handle stuck forever. Opened inside, looked at youtube videos to try to fix. Unfixable. Worthless.

Workmanship issue with swissgear belt which was apparently covered by warranty but here is what they said. Reject reason Hello, Thank you for submitting a warranty claim. We are unable to approve your claim at this time because the required information was not provided. When resubmitting, please include the following items: Three photos of the product — including the front, back, and the defective area Receipt — must show the specific product and purchase price Product information label — must include the SKU number and PO number If you need help locating the product information label, please refer to the website Kind regards, SWISSGEAR Customer Care A delusional warranty policy. Never buy from them again.

[2] Upon emailing the email address provided on the website. 2 days and many emails later, the Warranty Claim team asks for the following: • Please take a clear photo of the product information label located inside the product, showing the manufacturer details, including the SKU and PO number. • After taking the clear photo of the product information label, please cut the label into four pieces and upload a photo of the cut label as confirmation. If you need assistance locating your product information label, please refer to the link below for step-by-step guidance. Label Help – SWISSGEAR ----- Without doing the above, the team will not process the claim. I am currently requesting my application to be escalated to be reviewed by a manager. My own 24" black hardcase did not last for its first trip. A wheel broke off after I got off a cab enroute to the airport for an international flight. I took pictures of the broken luggage but did not know about having to take images of the interior label AND cut up the label? This is a fairly ridiculous ask.

Just wanted to add my experience. In 2022 I got a swiss gear backpack the 5358 from amazon. About three years in the zippers started to fail and this year the zipper finally broke and the straps are also falling apart. I submitted a warranty claim with much doubt but to my surprise they very quickly responded and promptly sent me a code for a new backpack after I officially and properly sent in all the pictures of damage and proof of purchase. I was pleasantly surprised. I give it a 4 because the product durability was very underwhelming, but the warranty process was very smooth.

Be sure to read their return policy. It is set up to protect them, not you.

The worst customer service--I am now on my 4th email exchange with Swiss gear. All I want to do is return my $110 carry on bag. They will not just do a return. they require one to go thru a Warranty Process which they have made difficult, cumbersome and beyond ridiculous. I have spent an insane amount of time on trying to return the carry-on bag. After requiring photos now they want me to send a video and Pictures of the labels inside the suitcase. Never buy from Swiss gear. If you want their luggage go to a retail store or Amazon where you can easily return. clearly they do not want to refund my money.

I bought luggage tags from them because of a deal when I bought a backpack. The luggage tags arrived with postage due. $6.31 I emailed customer support and they told me that basically it was the post office fault that they wanted to collect extra money.

If i could give a zero star, I would. We’ve purchase a luggage from Swiss Gear and receive a different model than what we ordered and paid for. That model that they sent, sells for half the price. We’ve contacted them and they wouldn’t respond until finally now to say to return the luggage and to pay for the shipping to return if we want to get reimburse. How is this making sense? They sent us the wrong product, overcharge us and now what us to return and pay the shipping. To me, I call this fraud. Wow, how can a company be like that. Buyer beware.
