If I could put a zero, I would. Please stay away from this company, so you can avoid the same experience that I had. Upon estimate, I enumerated all my furniture and boxes. Told them it’s a 2 bedroom apartment. I Paid half price deposit. During the pick up time, price tripled. Their reason is the size of the estimate was not right, it was way too small. I had to decline the service. Because I signed the document, my deposit cannot be refunded. They told me that it’s not the number of items but the space that counts toward pricing. They didn’t tell me this. They gave me low estimate by putting a smaller size cubic ft estimate for all my items, that is only good for a studio or one bedroom. I had the same items, TV and coffee table were not even there anymore. Now because they provided or attempted service,I cannot get my deposit refunded. This company will just suck your money, and you are defenseless because you signed the no refund agreement. Don’t be fooled by their low estimate. The real cost is during pick up and you cannot get your deposit back if you back out.

Swift Van Lines is a scam! They double your price once they get to your items.. even after signing documents that it would be a certain price! If you can't afford the extra, they take your deposit. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Please do not use this company. I contacted them in March 2026 for my move in May 2026. They are dishonest and not forthcoming on how much you will have to pay. They are not the carrier as they make themselves out to be, they are a broker, and they never make that clear when talking to you. They must have been accused of being dishonest in the past because they found a way to get past the allegations of not telling people they are a broker by putting it plainly pages down into your moving estimate that you have to sign. Otherwise, they phrase it as if they are the carrier and you don’t know you’re using a broker service until it’s too late. So, if you read ALL of the paperwork, that’s the only way you will know. You can easily contact a carrier yourself and save yourself thousands of dollars as the driver told me himself upon pickup. The owner is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever met as a business owner and once they get your money they have no more reason to assist you in any way. I emailed LeeAnn to get my latest moving estimate paperwork forwarded to me because the link had expired and I never received a response. Also, they clearly do not vet the carriers they use because that was another heartache in itself which I will be writing a separate review for. For Swift Shift Van Lines though, for your own sanity save yourself the heartache and thousands of dollars and contact the carrier yourself.

I had talked to a company rep. named Chase on 4/27/2026 for an estimate of my move. We did a walk through of my home and made a list of things that were going to be moved. He quoted me $7768.95 to move from Londonderry New Hampshire to Carolina Shores N.C. About two weeks before my scheduled move another rep. called me and we did another walk through. He added another $8000.00 to the quote. Now up to $16,000. On the day of the move the movers came with a 26 foot box truck. Before they finished packing the lead person said I needed another truck or they would stop packing anything. Another $8000.00. Total now is at $24,000 to move 900 miles. When we arrived in N.C. we had to wait a week for the truck to arrive. 90 % of the boxes were packed upside down. Numerous pieces of furniture were broken or damaged. Also numerous items were stolen !The last item to come off the truck was my Snap On tool box. When it was loaded the truck had a lift. When it got to my new home the truck had no lift. I had to empty the entire box into bins. Totally uncalled for. In the end ,they totally took advantage of senior citizens. I am now in the process of hiring an attorney to pursue this company. Unless you want to be taken advantage of please DO NOT hire Swift Shift Van Lines L.L.C. I wish I could have left zero stars.

Very disappointing experience. After my items were loaded, they added extra charges that were not clear in the original quote, so I ended up paying much more than expected. My delivery has also been delayed, with no clear update on when it will arrive. Also, communication has been poor. I have to call them myself, and many times they do not even answer.

This was the absolute WORST moving experience in over 60 years. Snakes. They are LIARS AND SWINDLERS. The move ended up costing 2.5 TIMES what the original quote was, and I had even gotten rid of half my furniture the day of the move. It took 22 days to get my belongings. When they finally arrived, my $4500 mattress was torn up! Every single box was destroyed. Most of my items have been damaged. I am LIVID. When I tried to contact this company, Ke*** and Ol***, I was told to stop contacting them; it's not their problem. Really? STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVING COMPANY. They are not BBB accredited, which they lied about on the phone. They have many claim against them. They are SWINDLERS.

Ripped us off for $3700 Provided no services. My brother a disabled navy veteran sold his house In New Mexico and was relocating To California.I contacted Swift Shift Van lines to obtain a quote on the move. They gave me a good faith estimate so I trusted them to do the move. A week before the move a representative named Jonathan contacted me he was rude and demanded more money if I was to be Placed on the schedule. We negotiated a complete list on items to be moved and agreed on a price and A 26 ft truck was promised. On moving day swift arrived with a truck that was 3/4 full somebody else’s stuff. The movers informed us that he only had rum for 20 percent Of the items on the list. He also informed us the the price had now tripled. We refused to allow them To rip us off so the movers left, We rented a truck did the move our selves. We requested a refund Swift Refused any refund based on the fact that we canceled. We did not cancel We refused to allow swift to cheat A disabled Navy veteran DO NOT Trust this Moving Company

Worst company i have ever dealt with. In a follow up call for a 1000 mi move the fast talker talked me out of medium boxes, said I would get a new $ 350 discount. New move order printed small on phone, he said read it & sign. NEGLECTED TO TELL ME He has changed the " Binding Estimate fee from $2000 to $3850!!! Left that out of the conversation. When I called back to question, I was told "you signed it. You wrote a check. This is just the way things are done!" DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. I'M now stuck paying this outrageous cost...@ 79 years old, a veteran this is unconsciousable!
