0 stars. Unethical. Bait and switch pricing. I wish this was just a scam so I could chalk it up to getting scammed. Unfortunately this is a “real” company. Full of real unethical, rude, slimy people. Don’t trust any of them. Don’t sign anything. I could go on and on about my awful and traumatic experience but my message is simple. Don’t use this company for any reason whatsoever. Please.

This company sucks. They are a 3rd party broker. They lie. What was on ones inventory disappears and when the other company arrives its again a less square footage and much less inventory. You call the original company and they are rude and useless. "You should have checked your inventory" The 3 day arrival is over a week and you can never get them to reply. Also, they give you a higher rate and hold you hostage if you don't comply. What a joke of a crappy useless rude company. THEY ARE THE BIGGEST SCAM. BEWARE USING THEM. AND TAKE YOUR BP MEDS IF YOU DO. THEY ARRIVED AND PICJED UP OUR STUFF. ONLY HALF AND WERE QUOTED MORE SINCE THEY DECREASED THE SQUARE FOOTAGE. HORRIBLE JOKE OF A CRAPPY RUDE COMPANY. Just contact and pay the extra. You wind up paying it anyway with a migraine and possible stroke if you deal with this useless 3rd party broker.

I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. This was, without question, one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. Kenny (or Kenneth, whatever his name is) lied to me from the beginning. He promised my belongings would arrive in 4 to 5 days and pressured me into signing immediately so I could "lock in the deal." He also required me to pay $2,300 upfront. After my belongings were picked up, they completely disappeared. For 14 days, nobody contacted me with an update. We were left chasing answers while getting ignored. My girlfriend flew out specifically to meet the movers on the date Kenny promised. Instead, she spent two weeks sleeping on the floor because this company couldn't deliver on the timeline they sold me. We were essentially ghosted while trying to find out where all of our belongings were. When the actual carrier finally contacted us, they admitted they had no idea why Kenny promised a 4 to 5 day delivery because they couldn't guarantee anything close to that. In other words, he sold us a timeline that was never realistic. I emailed Kenny to express my concerns, hoping someone would take responsibility. Instead, he dodged accountability and offered nothing but excuses. When my belongings finally showed up, they were weeks late. The movers also tried to squeeze another $500 out of me with bogus fees. They removed the charge because they couldn't justify it. To make things even worse, they lost some of my furniture. I paid $3,400 for misleading promises, terrible communication, an attempted cash grab at delivery, weeks of unnecessary stress, and missing furniture. If this is how this company treats paying customers, they should be embarrassed. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company. I would never recommend swift shift van lines to anybody. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Do not use this company- they told me on the phone that I would have my belongings in two days and I did not get my belongings for 23 days. And they would only tell me to be patient and that they actually have 30 days to get me my belongings - and that it was in my contract- do not sign a contract with this company unless you want to waste your time and worry that you will not get your stuff and and that they really don’t care that they are not holding up their end of the contract. All dates on the contracts are estimates and they do not even come close to meeting their obligations!

DON’T USE A BROKER. DON’T MOVE WITHOUT IN-PERSON VISIT!!!! Swift Shift is horrible. This was the absolute worst bait and switch scam I’ve encountered. Rule number 1: don’t ever hire a mover without in person visit. After a thorough inventory of household items to include 70 moving boxes, the truck pulls up to the residence and movers laughed at how we were slotted for 1/4 of a 26’ truck for a 3 BR house. The algorithm used (across the whole nation according to them) is grossly underestimating size of furniture. The person who scheduled was told things like “queen sleigh bed” but didn’t account for the box spring which was caught and added on during their QC call. That was same for all beds. In the end, we paid for extra space and only moved 1/2 of the items listed on inventory. THEN, they held our goods for almost a month before delivery. THEN, they charged extra to deliver goods because the neighborhood wouldn’t allow 18-wheeler parking in street and driver refused to use driveway so he had to transfer to smaller truck. Why do they only pick up goods in 26’ truck and only deliver in 18-wheeler?

Screaming matches Almost a month to deliver. Over $40,000 in damaged & wet or lost items. Gained a mouse Refused 5 box not ours. Driver refused to come to our location so we had to pay for another truck. First boxed truck damaged the septic parking on it Not enough space to tell the whole horror story

Swift Shift Van Lines LLC misled that they were a broker, misled about delivery times and payment details, lied about the size requirements for my possessions, was unprofessional (dismissive/talked over me), lied about the pick up/drop off details, misled about drop off dates, and lied about the payment process and details. Terrible customer service. Some of my possessions came back missing and/or broken. Do not recommend. Price ended up being industry standard for size (490 cu ft/$3100) and many things were damaged/missing.

Read the apathetic responses from SwiftShift under some of these reviews, they cannot be bothered to respond without help from AI or even delete the, "how can I make this sound better" response from AI before posting. This company charges thousands to essentially call and schedule movers with a truck on your behalf, a gutless middleman operation. They claim transparency and efficiency though undermine that the movers will charge 100% more than what SwiftShift quotes originally, so the quote is worthless. They can't show up within they window they offer. I could have just hired movers outright and paid them the full amount, why does anyone need this broker? Note our move was scheduled in February and they couldn't find a driver until the night of, at the end of May, meaning they did not have a driver ready, even with ample notice months prior, possibly because they don't own their workers and the contracted drivers have to bid on the job first. They provide absolutely no worth or value as a company and based on the replies, they are technologically-illiterate as well.
